I originally purchased this dress for a themed party, expecting to only wear it one time, until I actually tried it on. It fits so well and hugs your curves in such a flattering way. (If you’re seeing the pictures thinking it looks fine for the bad review I’ve given, it all goes down to really bad quality, even if it photographs nice and sparkly. The moment it’s in your hands you’re Not as impressed) First of all this isn’t worth more than $15. It is so thin and cheap it snags on air itself. It’s cut in a very unflattering way. And they give you honest to god granny panties as the underpart. This belongs on Shein and not for a penny more than $15. The $40 I paid was robbery. It IS true to size. Do no size up as others have suggested. I’m a true medium and went for a large and I was pinning over 4” of fabric in the back to get it to fit tight at the waist. It might even run big. I was a large earlier this year and I still think it would have been too big. Trust me when I say I tried to make this work. I was so in love with this I was making excuses left and right, maybe I need to do this, maybe with the right thing under it it would look better. I will tell you right now I tried absolutely every way to make this work and there wasn’t a single thing going for it aside from it was indeed very sparkly. I use the zipper about 8 times trying on different things under it to make it less atrocious, and in that time it ripped off most of the sequins around it, and was starting to get jammed. The boobs also are a really sad thing. The way they cut the fabric and made a “pocket” for boobs is really unflattering and there’s a LOT of room for your ladies to get out. I only wear a B/C cup and things were falling out. Those things might not be the case for the person standing next to me I know we are all different but listen to me when I say this is made CHEAP CHEAP and it is not worth the price at all. It’s sad when I saw I think Shein could do better. Listen. I loved it too. Only buy it if it’s Prime and you can return it. Because I know if it were me reading this review, I would still probably buy it. Just make sure it’s prime. I’m glad I got a different color than I wanted so it would be prime so I can get my money back. ... show more

I needed a dress for my birthday and came across this one. After reading all the reviews about sizing up and stuff, i went with my gut instinct and got a large. It fit perfect. It doesn’t stretch much but gives a bit. It is definitely see through so you’ll need some pasties for the boobies and some sort of underwear. Although it came with a pair of undies I don’t think they are fitting for the dress. Perhaps some Brazilian undies would go best. Only thing I didn’t like was the zipper was silver teeth. Wish it was more invisible. I’m a 38D and 29 waist and 40 hips. I weigh 168 and I’m 5’6. It comes down mid thigh. The large fit me perfect. I think xl would of been too big. I would say size yourself to a dress that doesn’t give much and go for it. It’s pretty and I can’t wait to wear it. My boobies do come out a bit on the sides but I know when I have assistance to tie it, it’ll fit better. Otherwise I’ll update this review once I wear it. Hope it helps. ... show more

I ordered a x-small and according Amazon recommend sizes and it was too small. However, the dress its self is super sexy and love the style of it. Wish I would have ordered a small instead.

This dress is so beautiful, but if you have larger breast this dress is not for you. I purchased an XL because I’m A 40DD. The waist fit well, but the top is for smaller chested people. I would love to have been able to wear this for NYE, but I’m going to pass because my boobs are just too big and keep popping out. The ribbon type of straps you have to crisscross the back and pull tight to get any support. If my boobs were smaller I would definitely wear this dress. Got this for my 30th birthday. It’s stunning I can’t wait to wear it!! If I’m being completely honest I feel like it’s a one time use dress the quality isn’t that great. It looks like it’d fall apart in the washer. However, I only got this dress for my birthday dinner. I don’t plan to really ever wear it again. With that being said I’m sooo glad I got it. It’s perfect and looks so lovely! Now for sizing I’m 5’4 and weigh around 124-128lbs my waist is about 25 1/2 inches hips are about 38inches and I wear an A cup bra size. I’m usually a size small but got it in a six extra small which was perfect. Even sizing down there’s still plenty of room to tighten the dress so I’d say it runs big but it’s not stretchy if that makes sense. ... show more
