I bought these to take on my trip to Peru. I was going to the Amazon, went sandboarding, and did a lot of walking. I wanted to bring one pair of shoes/sneakers that could be used for everything. They took the place of my sneakers so I didn't need to bring my regular gym sneakers when I wanted to work out. Didn't need to carry swim shoes because these also took the place of water shoes. These were great. Light hiking, walking, beach...whatever your needs. These were perfect. I wore them on the plane and they were easy to put on and on going through TSA. I am a 7-7.5AAA in women's sizing (always difficult to find). Thought that a 6.5 w velcro might work. Toe is at end, but velcro needs to be much tighter even if I tighten to the very end of it. Love the bright colors, comfortable, but too loose to be safe for walking for me!
