I have used this product more than a few times since I’ve received it, which is saying a lot considering many cosmetics items in my rotation hardly ever get a second use. Having this mixing color has increased my usage of certain foundations because I’m able to alter them to finally fit my skin tone. This formula helps with altering tone, but not necessarily depth. It has a medium depth, definitely not sheer, so once I achieve the tone I like with this blue, if the foundation was too dark to begin with, this doesn’t lighten, I will still have to add in a lightener. I have found it does not alter too much the final finish of the foundation I use it on, which is a wonderful characteristic. I’m yellow undertone is hard for me to find foundation that matches so this help so much for me is better then keep buying foundations I just add a tiny amount and mix till I get the color that I want and them that’s it a little goes a long ways it also works with tinted moisturizer.

I do a lot of gothic/alternative styled makeup looks and had an Amazon gift card so I bought this foundation mix. Depending if I want a full white look or just lighter skin I either mix it with my normal foundation or use it straight up. No matter what, I do notice it’s kind of powdery (?) when I put it on my face whether I mix it in or not, which isn’t ideal, and is why I removed a Star, you can probably find something much smoother on the market. I’m an olive color and most foundations are either to light or to dark and make me look orangey… I mixed this yellow with Revlons vanilla and it was the perfect shade for me, even covered some dark marks I have on my face plus dark circles. It goes on smooth but after it dries it gets a bit patchy and easily smears off even with finishing powder ): It’s also not full coverage. Still a pretty good cheap option for goth looks but not great :P
