For all guys, and gals of course. This tool box can easily be filled with anything of all sizes. Holds pretty strong on the handles, but i noticed when opening it while it was full, the handle compartments get a bit floppy depending on the weight you put in. Makes for a great "back of the vehicle" box, easily to be taken anywhere as well. Just watch your toes on it if its set on the floor. It hurts ... show more

    • Tackle-box style toolbox
I'm not well-versed in "tool box" but it seems to me the handles on this are kinda weird? there are two (one on each side) that fold down on either side. Once they are (allegedly) out of the way, the box opens like a tackle-box with tiered compartments on each side. The handle set up keeps there from having to be a lid to deal with but they kind of get in the way. The pull-outs are very stiff. It's probably worth just pulling them in and out a bunch of time to loosen them up. Without anything in the bottom to weight it down a little pulling on the shelves just lifts the whole box instead of lifting out the shelf. I wonder about water getting into the box via the crease where the shelves meet at the top of the box but I don't know many folks that leave their tools out in the rain so it's probably okay. The box is metal and square so the corners are actually a little sharp - I backed into the thing and cut my leg - so it would be nice if they were a little rounded or rubberized (but I can be pretty clumsy so whatever.) Whining aside, there is plenty of room for tools (or whatever you have in mind) and overall the box doesn't add a lot of weight and it is sleek-looking. ... show more

    • Super sturdy, a bit hard to fully open
This tool box is definitely one of a kind. I like how it has a double handle which also serves as the lid opener. The entire box is made of thick gauge steel and is painted with a very hard coating which makes it feel very premium. The preset compartments sort of make sense, but I'd prefer it if they included a divider system that I can customize. Other than that, this tool box is perfect for multiple purposes. Currently I use this box to contain all different types of engine stand and engine hoist accessories. Hooks, screws, spacers, chains, etc. All of which are critically hard to find if a piece go missing; and having everything in one location like this tool box is the only way I can keep myself organized. As mentioned earlier in this review, the best thing about this tool box is that I can just sway the handle away and the lid opens itself up. This is much better than the predecessor in which a set of latches are involved, then flip the lid open; which proves to be too many actions, and not so handle. Another thing is the handles are straight round bars in which if I have dirty gloved hands, I can just use a paper towel and one swipe the whole thing's clean again. Really convenient and easy to clean and stay tidy with this box. The only real complaint I have is the break-in. I've used this box for almost two months by now, and I use it once every two weeks. The whole handle-lid opening action is still somewhat resistant especially when I go half way up opening it. It does begin to smoothen up and get loose, but I don't know how many uses it'll take for it to come completely loose. The resistance to opening does sometimes put me at a disadvantage. I enjoy staying organized and tend to work fast. But if I have to slow down and use two hands to finagle with handles or opening up this box, it totally destroys the intent. But I believe it'll free up one day. Just takes some time. Overall, very satisfied with this box. If you're looking for a unique heavy duty box, this is an excellent candidate! ... show more

I've been using this toolbox for a while. It is great and hast lots of room. I like how you can explode all the compartments at the same time and have all your tools at hand. Pros- nice looking, heavy, multiple levels for tools of different shapes and sizes. convenient Cons- latches are not overly sturdy, and there is some 'wiggle' from side to side I have a detached garage that is too far from my house to hold all of my tools, so I end up with tools scattered upstairs, downstairs, in the garage and pantry. And I never seem to know where the specific tool is that I need. I ordered this toolbox to help cut down on the chaos and bring some order to my tools. So far, it is OK. The original list price was more than $80, so I expected some rubber liners and sturdy latches. When I received it however, the price had dropped to $59 and I my expectations were lowered. the tool box is heavy which is good and bad. But the weight makes it seem more sturdy. On the other hand, with this much weight, I would like the trays not to wiggle side to side when they are pulled out. this is probably OK, but heavy tools could put stress on the latches over time. But, for the price, it seems fine. I wish the trays were lined and the latches were reinforced. But, I can use it as intended, regardless. ... show more

This is a pretty nice toolbox - I'm doing a major reorganization of all my tools I've acquired over 30+ years, I needed something to sit on top of a rollaway cart that I could still grab and take with me if I needed to. This box is pretty well made, the metal isn't super thick but it's better than some of the boxes I've gotten from some of the big-box stores. Toolbox had one tiny ding in the corner, but you'd have to look to find it (it's gonna see worse after a few weeks in my shop). The handles / lid is a pretty clever arrangement, with no clasps or latches. The finish is better than I expected. The only thing I could pick on is the tiny little opening for a lock in the lid, it's not big enough for anything substantial and the lock would be at a weird angle. This box is going to live in my garage and won't be locked anyway, so no biggie. ... show more
