I am short (5'4"). I wanted a rain coat that I could wear that looked good over longer tops. This is perfect for that. It covers my clothes and is still fashionable. I like the tan color. It keeps me dry. The hood keeps my hair out of the wind and rain so I don't need an umbrella. It dries quickly with a little shake. The only draw back is the fabric does wrinkle a little. I loved the color, fit, and lack of branding. The tortoiseshell color of the buttons is truly flattering. I love the coat in green as well. I just happened upon a sale just last week with prices slashed. I bought the coat in Magenta (seller says Purple) and the coat in Green. The prices are so low I will keep both most likely. What I did not and do not love is tacky stitching. I like that there is a classic pleat at the back of the coat plus excellent placement of belt loops. I am high waisted so the loops are perfect for me. The detailing is nice throughout the coat. Buttons are so nice and reliable❗ One issue to report---> this coat is very long. I am 5'6" 145 pounds. I bought size large. The body fits, the sleeve length is good for me. However the length falls below or just at the bottom of my knees. I am short waisted with super long legs. The moment I pulled this out of the bag, I had to wear it. It's a beautiful, rich bright plum color and the detailing is exquisite. The hood snaps on and off, which is nice because I don't like hoods (I prefer hats). You can see in the photos that the arms and body run long. I'm 5'5" tall and have the arms of someone much taller, so I usually end up letting out sleeves or making my own clothes. This coat is clearly styled for taller individuals (although it would be easy enough to alter for shorter frames). I love the long length of it. So many rain coats are just too short for good coverage in pouring rain. It has roomy outside pockets and an inside chest pocket. The belt buckle matches the tortoise shell buttons. It has the traditional epaulettes and shoulder flap on the right hand side. It's fully lined and the lining fabric is of good weight and nice and slick. I would take one of these in every color.
