This is the first actual moissanite item I've owned, and I was very excited to receive it. It was as sparkly as I'd heard moissanite is, and looked very elegant with the six prong style. I got the 5mm and found that it was lovely without being distractingly large. These are lab grown (important to me) and come with a GRA number for warranty/proof of authenticity. The backs are a regular style metal back, with an extra rubber back for extra security. They come in a gorgeous box for storage/presentation. I would absolutely consider buying another pair if I decide I want a larger stone, or as a gift for someone else as they are absolutely giftable. If you do buy them as a gift, be sure to open the storage box - the studs are packaged in small plastic jewelry baggies inside the box to keep them secure before their arrival. ... show more

My wife asked me to see if I could get something with Moissanite so I grabed a pair of these for her. Knowing my wife as I do, I sort of half chuckled as I did so. She is rather picky when it comes to jewelry. To my surprise she put them on immediately and did not take them off until time for bed much latter in the day. She loves them, and I don't blame her. I purchased a set of Moissanite stud earrings to wear every day. I got the 0.5-carat size with a 6-prong setting in silver, thinking the silver setting would offset the stone and make it look larger. The earrings arrived quickly, packaged in a beautiful box colored to mimic Tiffany blue. The earrings came with a business card from GRA, stating they had a limited lifetime warranty. The card instructed me to register my GRA purchase and provided a website address. However, my web protection software swiftly flagged the site as unsafe, citing an unmatching security certificate, and blocked my attempt to enter. This warning immediately raised red flags. After some research, I discovered that the Gemological Research Association (GRA) is a bogus organization often used by scammers to con people into buying fake jewelry and gemstones. Now, I wonder if I've been shafted with these earrings labeled Moissanite diamonds. The earrings themselves are pretty and do sparkle nicely for now. However, I've seen reviews mentioning that the posts may cause irritation, so I plan to wear them for a few days to see if I encounter the same issue. I'll update this review to provide future buyers with an honest account.
