My scalp gets build up even though I don't use a lot of product. I use this every 3rd wash and it is really helping with the health of my scalp. I also noticed I can go an extra day between washes without an itchy scalp now.

Maybe i just have too much hair, but this isn’t a deep exfoliation. I have sebhorreic dermatitis and was told exfoliation can help ease the severity of it. This smells nice and washes out easily. It doesn’t flare up my scalp or anything. It just doesn’t really get in there and SCRUB like i wish it did. If you don’t need that deep scrub this is perfect for you! I have used lots of scalp scrubs and this is at a great price point. I love the price! Unfortunately, I did not love the result. I have very thick hair and my scalp felt gritty after using. I usually use a large salt scrub but one that's more simple-you can really just feel the salt. This one feels as if the large salt crystals are suspended in a heavy gelatin-like substance. I am a sensitive skin gal so literally anything irritates me and my scalp! I decided to give this scalp scrub a chance and it doesn’t disappoint! I didn’t not enjoy using this product. I had a hard time distributing the product on my hair. And once in, I couldn’t get it to wash off easily. Did not enjoy using it.
