My size ten (10) order of the Kricely brand sneakers for men arrived in criss-cross lacing (the preferred method for manufacturers). I changed that to straight lacing to make them easy to put on and comfortable to walk in. Even so they feel snug (more so at the top). I expect them to relax after several days of wear.
