I purchased the 4x5 arrangement to store clothing and so far so good. The assembly took about 20 minutes and was very easy. One thing I would recommend is to double check that the shelves/wire racks and connectors are very tight. I thought mine were as I heard the initial "snap" each time but when I had someone stronger really push them together, they snapped in even tighter. The structure was much sturdier afterwards. Since I am using the cubes on vinyl plank flooring, I will be purchasing a rug runner to put underneath. This will prevent the weight of the unit (after I have filled the cubes) from denting the floor with the black connectors on the bottom (learned my lesson with other furniture). The only slight negative is that some of the doors hang slightly crooked or do not stay entirely closed, even after adjusting a few times. To me, that's not a big deal. They still serve their purpose of keeping most of the dust out while allowing air flow. Overall, very happy with this product! ... show more

I was using large chests to store my yarn -- these are so much better! Once I got the hang of it, it was fairly easy to assemble. Each cube holds 13 - 8 oz skeins of Herrschners Worsted 8 yarns...with no issues. Note: All of the panels must be in correctly for all the doors to close. I can now organize my yarn based on project, not "stash". One more set to go. Suggestion: if this product is going to be used for a child's room, or a closet, be sure to use the zip ties and clips that are included in the pkg. ... show more

I used this to organize things in my storage loft. Mostly Christmas stuff. It made the space look better and easy to find what I need. Great organizing tool. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the cubes had cut outs in the corners. I would have preferred a more sealed cube but all in all, a good buy. ... show more

    • It's Ok if your trying to save a buck
I really appreciated the customer service and the note from the company upon receiving our package. Thley wanted to be sure we knew what resources were available to us to ensure a study assembly. If you have gone through the process, then it is relatively easy but if you have not, it can be confusing. It is instructed that the "gaps" be filled to ensure sturdiness but it is impossible to do that for many of the cubes because the squares are slightly smaller than the lengths of the locks. Figuring this out required disassembly and res=assembly, which was pretty frustrating. The cubes themselves are nice for what you are paying and probably the most well built of the plastic shelves out there but the doors do not always close it is not as visually appealing as it appears on the photos. Overall, if your not willing to invest in a wooden/compressed wood shelving system, this will satisfy your needs well enough. ... show more

I was in search of a cheap, and temporary option for extra clothing storage; found this. Compared with similar products, I found this brand to be more affordable. It took me approximately 15 minutes to assemble this unit by myself. I opted for the 20 cube transparent storage unit. Each cube seems to hold quite a bit of clothing, but results will vary due to the sizing of your clothes. Because there isn’t a latch on the doors, they do tend to open up; not a big problem for me. Also, a lot of the pieces don’t seem to be cut as evenly as they could be, so there are noticeable gaps. This causes some of the cubes to pop out of the fasteners,so you’ll need to use those zip ties to ensure that these cubes don’t come apart. From reading other reviews I did purchase an extra pack of black connectors. But I also contacted amazon and requested that the seller provide extra black connectors as well. If you do purchase this product do ask the seller for extra zip ties and black connectors. If you’re financially restricted and need some extra storage, this is a great buy . Keep in mind that it has some design flaws but not enough for this not to be useful. ... show more

By far the best item I bought for storage. This is the perfect item and it stores so much in it. The cubes are very tall and wide so its perfect for storage. Another thing is its supper easy to assemble and what's really cool is if I want to add on to it in the near future its supper easy to do that too!!! 10/10 love this skin much thank you guys for making this. And it's such a great price I bought the 20 cube set and it's an amazing price really. After spending all day putting it together and organizing my clothes, I needed to move it a couple of inches to access an outlet. If one part becomes disconnected, it will fall and cause a domino effect into the other cubes. The connectors it came with also are easily breakable. This may be easiest thing I've ever assembled. Have to admit when I opened the box and seen all the pieces I was overwhelmed, but after reading the very nice letter enclosed I felt like I had a team of people for support, so I dove in. It was so easy. I bought 20 cube and did 4 rows of 5. A lot of storage space taking up very little room. Couple hints if you purchase. When using connectors, slide both sides of square in at the same time and than push down on either side, you will hear it click. Put the doors on as you go, don't worry if they are falling down just be sure to use the mallet on every connector after each level is assembled.
