Update:: it’s not sturdy for heavy items. It’s relatively easy to put together I had to read the second pair of instructions that came with it because the more detailed instructions were a bit too confusing. But after I got it down it was easy to put together. I can’t speak about the sturdiness yet since I haven’t used it for anything yet. But I will say that if you put it together make sure it’s where you want it to be when you put it together because it doesn’t move well once it’s assembled lol I didn’t use the zip ties it came with because I want to be able to take it apart easily if I move. This product is very easy to build. However, it’s very lightweight, so you may want to consider where you’re going to place it since it will love a lot. I put it inside the wall closet as a clothes organizer. Each cube is deep enough to hold multiple things. Really good for organizing. I hope that it has more support underneath, so that it can hold heavier things. The price is just right. ... show more

    • Not impressed! Wasn’t what I expected.
Not a fan..but because returning is such a pain I decided to keep them. I thought when it said “plastic” it meant a sturdy plastic..not a flimsy “plastic” Assembly is a royal pain, and you basically are holding it together with zip ties (included) because the other parts they included keep popping off. ... show more

This large cube storage system was delivered on June 24, 2022 and was put together the same day. I don’t know what happened but obviously somebody was sleep when they put all the pieces in the box. After assembling and reassembling twice. We realized it was not an us problem but a them problem. Because no matter which way we put it together it’s still resulted in only 9 shelves instead of 12. It was supposed to be 12 cubes 18” x 14”. We only were able to put together 9 cubes. We received 10 panels that were the wrong size. Because these 10 panels were the wrong size it left us with 3 doors we could not use. Now for the doors, they do not cover the entire cube/cubby as shown in the picture. It is actually a half a hand gap from the end of the door or the part of the door you open and the next cube/cubby. This makes it a complete eyesore. So I’m wondering what happened during production to where you put not 1, not 2 but, 10 wrong panels. After rebuilding it to try to figure it out we still came to the same conclusion every time. Somebody was sleep on the production line. Because we received the wrong size doors as well. Don’t waste your money on this product. I did look at the star rating before I bought but, didn’t expect there to be problems we could not fix. Nor make aesthetically pleasing to the eye. So save your money or buy from another vendor. ... show more

I wasn't sure about this product when I purchased it however it was a much cheaper and lighter choice than a wooden dresser, so I gambled on it. I am happy that I did, the racks are stronger than they look, the cubes are larger inside then I imagined and the closet option works great, I was worried with my warped floors it might just slowly crumple however I have been pleasantly surprised with how sturdy it is. This is my 2nd KOUSI storage unit. In 2019 I purchased one for my bedroom and it does not compare to any other unit like this. I bought this new one for my daughter's stuff that was piled in the living room. It's actually going to solve a lot of problems and save us a lot of time. Easy assembly. Only problem I have is the doors don't stay closed and it isn't the most sturdy, but as long as you keep it under the weight limit that it has, you should be fine. I feel like I'm a fairly picky person though lol.. Overall happy with my purchase.
