I loved my Nespresso but it poop out after 3 years. I love espresso and my wife loves weak coffee which Nespresso doesn’t do. I got this so we could try both worlds. There are a few things. First, the 6oz is more like 10oz. The 2oz is about right. The Nespresso pods work well. K cups work well but come out weak unless you stop it early. The machine is loud and vibrates when in use so you have to watch it. Also when you pull out the insert it leaks excess water so a bit messy. Finally the tank does about 3 cups. So we are always refilling. Over all: +Good for the price and doesn’t tie you to one type of pod. ~Taste is ok if you like weaker flavors but if you stop it early then you can get a stronger taste +Heats really fast! -A bit messy ~Smaller than most -Loud ... show more

I enjoy the flexibility of the type of pods I can use, but it is specific to certain types/brands of pods. It appears to handle KCups, Nespresso pods, dolce gusto pods, and your own loose espresso. I didn't know it was so specific to those brands which was my own fault and bought lavazza espresso pods which don't work in this machine. However, that's not the reason I'm giving it 3 stars. It doesn't make the espresso hot enough. It makes it warm. I've never been a hot coffee drinker, but it's still a bit too lukewarm for me. I had to take the drip plate off it entirely because the vibration of the machine made the cup fall off. It also doesn't fit all mugs. I placed a hard piece of plastic where the drip tray should be, and then place a paper towel over that, as it continues to drip after the machine turns off. You can avoid the drip if you take the pod holder out immediately. It's not recommended though as you could burn yourself. I keep a plastic cup close by to catch the drip after the machine turns off. I had to give my sister an early holiday present--a mug that actually warms up the espresso, either warm, medium, or hot. That definitely fixed the problem for her. It was an expensive fix, and one that I shouldn't have had to make. I froth oatmilk hot to add to my Americano so that fixed the problem for me. This could be a five star machine easily with a few improvements. I don't regret buying it as I like the flexibility of the machine, and I love the taste of my dolce gusto pods! ... show more

This is a great device for a small kitchen. My wife love nespresso but I love K cup coffee. We don't have room for both so this works great. The switch over is not super easy but gets better with practice. Be careful when changes types, sometimes there is water left in the piece. I love that there are several different size coffees that you can choose from. I love the water reservoir because I can use hydrogen water for my coffee! ... show more

I love my espresso machine!! It’s small, about half the size of my ninja coffee maker, but it’s packed with options! I’ve only used it with the Nespresso original line pods, but it comes with multiple pod holders to accommodate different brands. It has multiple levels (7) that you can select to choose how many oz of brew you want. It even has the ability to brew room temp if you want it over ice. This machine is so easy to use and brews a great cup/ shot of espresso. It can be a bit noisy while doing so, but it’s sooo worth it. I’ve been using this every day and am so happy with it! If I had to change anything, I’d say maybe the color? Brown doesn’t really seem to go with any of my decor, but I care more about the functionality of it- and it functions great! ... show more

Coffee hot, crema, excellent flavor using Nespresso pods. Machine fast, did not encounter dripping. This is my second one. The first one shook a lot more and took a longer time in producing an Espresso shot. My comparison is to a old Breville with a frother. I am still looking for a Espresso cup that will remain on the machine without assistance while brewing. This also occur in my returned one. I will be trying Illy ese pods to see whether for my occasion use this machine is worth the bother to hold the cup on the machine for a cup of coffee. Pj ... show more

    • hard to use, leaks and shakes

I got this for my salon and it has been nothing but trouble. It is hard to get the pods in and when you do it docent always open them when you close it and when it start brewing it shakes really bad. when done and you remove your coffee cup and open the lid to remove your empty pod it leaks a steady stream all over the place. It has been nothing but trouble and I going to try and return it. Totally bummed! ... show more
