The T3 is a full size heavyduty smart watch that is perfect for outdoor activities. It's shock proof, dust proof and waterproof. The Tank T3 app is super easy to use and the menu and settings are very intuitive. It's simple to scroll through the various screens to access the various watch functions. There is a library of multiple watch faces on the app so you are able to easily choose the face you prefer. I prefer the default watch face (see picture). There are also a few watch faces resident on the watch. The watch menu includes biometrics to monitor your health when exercising; including heart rate, blood oxygen and blood pressure. It also monitors your sleep cycle! My favorite feature is the ability to receive phone calls on the watch. When paired with your smart phone, the watch rings and you can answer the call on the watch and have a conversation. Very cool! With a quick swipe you can get an up to date weather forecast. The menu includes a stop watch, an alarm clock and a calculator. I also like the full circular size of the watch face. It is very easy to read...even without my glasses!     • Good but I preferred the T2's sleep tracking
Having used both the T2 and now T3 models of Kospet's smart watches, I sort of prefer the T2. I reviewed this watch WITHOUT the app as I feel it's important to know how useful a device is without installing their spyware, or without having a smartphone. They both have similar feature sets and are definitely good, I do find the T3 to be a bit more accurate in its readings but the T2 had something this one doesn't: it detected sleep at all hours. I have a non-24 hour sleep cycle meaning my schedule rotates a bit every day and I'm often living in 'graveyard shift' as it were. What I found with this watch is that it will ONLY detect sleep after 8pm, so for the first several days I used it it would tell me I was only sleeping 4 hours, then 4.5, then 5 hours, etc., always starting exactly at 8pm. Otherwise, largely impressed. Heart rate monitoring suffers from the same issue that seems to plague all the wrist mounted monitors in that it will often determine a speed between 100 and 120 bpm is actually between 50 and 60, I don't know why it has so much trouble with that but it does. Weird to finish doing something and see the heart rate monitor say I was resting at 70, active to 95, then dip to 52, jump up to 130, dip to 59, then come back down to the 70's again. Otherwise it's largely accurate within 1-3bpm when compared to a fingertip pulse oximeter, and it DOES mostly get that 100-120 range accurate, just not always. Likewise, blood oxygen is within 2% of the fingertip monitor. Blood pressure on many of these watches has been replaced with "Stress", a nebulous rating that it never takes automatically and I never saw outside of the 'normal' range. Watch faces are a mixed bag, several not so good ones, one useless one with some funny animals and only the time. My biggest complaint is that only a couple faces have a second hand and none of the digital ones include seconds readout, this is a peeve of mine across most all lower end smart watches. Most of the faces display various health stats like steps taken, calories burned, distance traveled (metric only in KM), and last read or current heart rate. Some also include 'hot key's on the face where tapping a given metric takes you to that feature on the watch, and there are notification/weather/alarm icons for going to those features as well, HOWEVER, most of the faces don't have this feature, it's very random which have tap shortcuts and which don't. The watch tells you to get up and move around periodically, and annoyingly, there's no way to turn this feature off. I don't mind the reminder but it tends to pop up when I'm in the middle of doing something, as in it'll tell me to get up and move around while I'm in the shower, while I'm trying to go to sleep, when I'm walking, while exercising, just totally randomly. But not always, I have no idea what determines whether it should go off or not, and again, can't turn it off. Battery life is great, dips about 2-5% per day depending on how much I'm using it, recharges in less than an hour so far. The watch band is a slightly stretchy silicone rubber of some sort, meaning that it is a fair bit more comfortable than expected, there's a bit of give to it. It included a screen protector which I did install, however, less than two days later the first time it impacted something the screen protector shattered, so I removed it. The watch itself claims to have Gorilla Glass and so far even with several impacts it hasn't been damaged at all, though, the metal of the watch has a few dings in it now. Every feature was available to me without the app except the ones that are specifically smartphone related, that's very appreciated. It tracks about a week's worth of stats for some features, like resting heart rate and activity metrics, but only the current day's for sleep and active heartrate monitoring. Any more and you need the app. It also includes a women's health tracker but all features related to it are app required. One weird quirk with it is that you cannot manually turn off the screen, I keep these watches set to only turn on when I hit a button, the wrist turn feature seems to double the battery drain and I generally don't want it flashing on and off randomly, especially being that the touch screen shortcuts become active then, and it detects things like shower water and incidental contact as inputs. There's a feature in the options called "cover lock" and this is the feature you need to enable, it then detects a large portion of the touchscreen being touched at once as a shutoff command, so you just touch it with your palm or rest two fingers across its surface or the like to turn it off. Overall for the lower end smart watches though, I think this is one of the best I've tried, I only prefer the previous model due to the sleep tracking. When your schedule is inconsistent its nice having help making sure you got enough sleep. ... show more

I absolutely love the look of this watch. It's rugged yet stylish. I got it for my son who is in the military, and it fits his style perfectly. The face of the watch is a nice size, and it has a nice weight to it. It's not heavy and feels solid. The watch straps are silicone and very comfortable. I love that it has a premium feel. Besides looking awesome, the display is bright, crisp, and customizable. It has all the health apps and workout trackers, which my son wanted. The watch shows all your phone's notifications as well as calls and text messages, very handy. The built in speaker is good for phone calls and notifications. It can't play music, but you can control your phone's music with the smart watch. I love how the watch is up to military standards, and it hold a charge for up to a week, which is very nice. It comes with a charger that connects to the bottom of the watch. Overall, lots of bang for my buck here, and my son loves it! Overall ... show more

The watch I received was not the watch. I thought I was ordering. I was wanting the T3 Tank Ultra and got the basic T3 Tank, which is a different watch. I was not impressed by the T3 Tank and sent it back. It stopped working within an hour after unboxing. After some back-and-forth with. Kospet customer service they sent me a T3 Tank Ultra which was much better boxed and a sturdier and better looking watch to me than the basic T3 Tank. The Ultra appears to be everything I thought it would be when I first ordered. There was some initial issues with getting the strap connected to the watch, all the application features seem to be working well . I give the basic T3 Tank 1 star and the T3 Tank Ultra 5 stars so far. I have not had the opportunity to test the watch’s waterproof claims and will update my review later. I have to say Kospet customer service was excellent and seemed very responsive to my concerns and went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. ... show more
