  • Love ‘em!
Size: 12 Color: Black
I have been fly fishing for about ten years. My first two pair of wading boots were both made by Simms. Both were great boots, well made and supportive but HEAVY. I had wanted a pair of Korkers when I went to my local and favorite fly fishing shop in 2014 but found a pair of top-of-the-line Simms wading boots clearanced for half price.......which I bought. Fast forward to this summer. Went fishing in June 2018 and the weight of the Simms wore me out. Sold them online for about what I paid for them and then ordered the Korkers. Used them for the first time yesterday, 9/14. Wow! Light weight, easy to tighten up, supportive, with the comfort of a tennis shoe. I won’t be going back to a heavier boot. A+ for Korkers! ... show more

  • What took me so long to discover those boots?
Size: 10 Color: Black
So comfortable the first time I had them on, I wore so many wading boots in my life but nothing like this one. So easy to put them on and even easier to take them off. It gives you confidence while wading so you would concentrate more on catching fish and less on maintaining your footing. The best part is that they are safe to wear at the hotel or store after you remove the studded sole, it's worth every penny. Buy the next size up so you would have enough space to wear heavier wool socks or neoprene ones, I wear the neoprene socks. ... show more

  • Toughest Wading Boot Ever
Size: 10 Color: Black
I am an active PNW fisherman, I usually fish at least 3-4 days a week. mostly bank fishing so boots are very important. I have burned through almost every high end version of Simms, but they just blow apart, and I am done with laces! I'm going on my second year with these devils canyons and they show very little sign of wear. The boa system is still working perfectly and having the ability to switch out soles to match the activity is the best feature. For best results with the life of your boots, keep them clean and dry. I clean and use a shoe dryer after every use. If there is one knock on this product it's that the cleats of the vibram soles do end up coming off, unlike the cleats on the felt which seems to be mounted so much better. With that said, Korkers support service is just as good as the Simms. My opinion on the latch for gravel guard is that it's unnessary. I Find that gravel guards of my G4's are snug enough that they don't ride up. Plus I am certain that was the reason that I kept breaking shoe laces on my old boots, as the gimmicky latch system never really worked well in real world conditions. ... show more

  • Best wader boots I've ever owned!
Size: 11 Color: Black
These are lightweight and comfortable. The easiest to take on and off with the twist/release setup. The interchangeable soles are a great feature with a large amount of other options to try (I also purchased a felt pair that fit and have worked well). I bought my father the Dark Horse version for Father's day and he loves those as well. Make sure you grab the pin key that is attached to the wire system and tags. My father threw his away on accident. ... show more

  • Great Wading Boots on the Market!
Size: 9 Color: Black
My son and I both have these waders. We purchased the pair with regular and studded soles. Mainly wear the studded versions due to rocks in the rivers we fish in Alaska. They fit well, last a long time and the studs sure help with the slipping and falling. Wire lace systems are the way to go! Highly recommend these boots especially for all the trout fishers out there. ... show more

  • Great boots
Size: 10 Color: Black
These boots are really comfy, unlike any wading boot I’ve ever used. Ankle support is great, lacing adjustment super easy, and the options on replaceable soles is unmatched. If you’re looking for new wading boots, Korkers Black Canyons are the ones!

  • Easy on and off
Size: 12 Color: Black
These have changed my mind about BOA lacing. Super easy on and off. Cold fingers not a problem. Have been out twice and they are very comfortable. This is my third pair of Korkers and by far the most comfortable and lightest. Korkers customer service is great. Have put many miles on my other pair. These are now my go to. Have yet to put long days/miles in them yet. Will report back when I have. ... show more

  • The boots and BOA lacing system are great. Very comfortable
Size: 10 Color: Black
The boots and BOA lacing system are great. Very comfortable, lightweight and easy on/off. I changed soles once while stream side and found them easy to switch out. Unfortunately, after five days of fishing the Kling-On studded soles had lost three studs. I filed a warranty claim with Korkers and, since the Kling-On soles were out of stock, they sent the studded Vibram Idogrip soles as a replacement. These soles have thicker lugs that might hold the studs better. I haven't used them yet, so I can't speak to their durability. ... show more
