I didnt think of expecting so much from this serum due to the price and I am not one that buys face products especially if it was not previously recommended by somebody else but I have to say that I will def keep buying products from this brand. The serum tightens up my skin and leaves it ready for my sunscreen and morning cream. I also got the face mask (the snail mucin) and the multifunction all in one face cream and they all leave my skin feeling very soft and fresh. I feel like my face skin looks clearer and tighter. Korean skincare and cosmeceuticals are much more heavily regulated than those in the US and EU, and as such we can expect advertisements of ingredients and content to be more accurate than other international brands. SeoulCeuticals' Vitamin C Serum has everything that all properly formulated Vitamin C serums should: ~20% vitamin C (between 15% and 25% is recommended, depending on skin type and sun sensitivity), Hyaluronic Acid for plumping and moisture retention, and Ferulic Acid for vitamin C stability and absorption. Additionally — and welcome, of course — is the inclusion d-Alpha Tocopherol (Vitamin E) to the preparation, which has the potential (though not proven) benefit of assisting with skin aging. All in all, an inexpensive alternative to the more expensive Drunk Elephants and Paula's Choices out there that has the added benefit of NOT smelling like hot dog water. ... show more

I’ve really liked this serum in the passed and it does wonders for skin in conjunction with retinol. HOWEVER, last time I ordered the glass dropper tip was literally shattered and the first time using it I didn’t notice and it scratched the crap out of my forehead right before the holidays. I purchased this product 4 days ago and have used it 3 times so far so I cannot speak to any long term effects however, the immediate effects are quite nice. The serum is not thick or tacky in any way, but is more thin and has a consistency closer to water but not quite. It is a light gold-ish in color and almost shimmery looking in the bottle but not once applied. It goes into the skin quickly and drys rapidly but still provides and instant brightness and hydrating effect. It smells heavily of citrus which reminds me of fresh squeezed orange juice. It doesn’t burn or leave any irritation or reside and pairs nicely with the moisturizing cream I purchased from the same brand.
