  • An actually good off-brand monitor!
Size: 27"/QHD/240Hz/Mini-Led
Koorui doesn't have the same recognition as a big brand like LG or Samsung. However, the monitor seems to be the genuine article here. Physically it feels sturdy and well-built. It is easy to put together and set up, plus it comes with both an HDMI and a DP cable. The monitor controls forgo that annoying "nipple" button a lot of modern monitors use and goes with the tried and true row of buttons. When you bring up the monitor controls, it is easy to read and navigate the options. Software-wise, it just runs off the generic PnP monitor driver. There's no specialized driver or ICC profiles to add, but what you can (and should do) is use your GPU's software to adjust settings. For me it is through the Nvidia Settings panel. Raedon's equivalent probably works the same way. Tweaking the settings is responsive and with just a few minutes time you'll have your games and videos cooking perfect. You want HDR? This does HDR (and does it beautifully). You want Freesync? It does that and is compatible with Nvidia's N-sync software. You want a high refresh rate? It can push up to 240MHz under the right settings. In conclusion, it is surprisingly well made! Good HDR, High refresh rates, all the options you want for 2k resolutions, etc. The only down side is it doesn't have it's own dedicated driver or color profiles, so you do need to tweak the settings, but I don't see it as necessarily bad since your GPU's software should be able to handle that job. All in all, I am impressed with this one. ... show more

  • Just buy it, you won't regret it!
Size: 27"/QHD/240Hz/IPS
I've had this monitor (27E3QK, 240hz 2k) for 5 months now and I can safely say it's an amazing deal! You're getting Asus levels of performance for a significantly lower cost. For context, I play FPS titles mainly and a few RPGs as well. Gaming performance is phenomenal! VRR has worked really well for me with the Nvidia app. The display is crystal clear due to the glossy coating. However, there are a few downsides, but if you're willing to do a very small amount of work, it will be perfect. Being that the monitor is so cheap, it doesn't come color calibrated (Mine had a bias towards green). The Vesa mount standoffs had a bit too much of a coating on the threads and i had to use a razor to scrape it off. In terms of connectivity, you REALLY need to push the HDMI/DP cables into the ports because they will put up a fight and not go in easily! ... show more

  • Great quality for the price! Great for Gaming and Work.
Size: 27"/QHD/170Hz/IPS
This is a GREAT monitor, especially for the price! #1 it's HUGE. The 1440p WQHD resolution really makes a big difference vs regular 1440p. It has HDR and Freesync, so games run amazingly smooth. I also use this monitor for work and I'm hugely impressed with its performance. The 2 HDMI slots are super welcome as well, since I can switch between work mode and game mode :) I did notice that there is no sound for this monitor from my experience, but that was fine for me as the speakers for monitors aren't particularly good anyway. / ... show more

  • With it for the money, but ghosting is bad
Size: 34"/WQHD/1000R/HDR400
This monitor is good, but definitely not a killer monitor. Since it is a VA panel the amount of ghosting on it is quite high. But, if you aren't using it for competitive gaming, only relaxed gaming and productivity reasons it's perfect! With the VA panel blacks are really deep and the contrast is amazing. so picture quality is flawless! the only reason it's a 4 and not a 5 is strictly because the ghosting... no amount of freesync or low latency modes can fix it. it is totally worth it for the price however! ... show more

  • Amazing value 💯💥🤑
Size: 24"/QHD/165Hz
Very satisfied with this monitor, for the price I got it at ($210). It has very competitive picture quality at this price point and goes beyond with its much denser form factor, leading to uncompromised clarity at most viewing distances. I still think games today are meant to be played at 4K for the intended experience, but if you mainly play competitive games like Fortnite, you will really appreciate this monitor. The color is also fantastic, and to my eye, it is definitely close to a wide color gamut, specifically in the reds, which are more saturated than typical monitors at this price point. The brightness is nearing 400 nits, but I don't think it quite hits it. Regardless, it's bright enough for me. The contrast isn't great and is typical of most IPS monitors. I'd say it's in the low 900s, so it's not great for dark content. Paired with a little backlight bleed and IPS glow, it makes dark content undesirable. The coating is matte and only noticeable on plain white screens or when light shines on it. It's not my favorite coating, and I would prefer something closer to what the LG GP850 has, which is more of a semi-gloss. The motion clarity is very good for an IPS panel, and as someone who has used OLEDs and daily drives an OLED TV, this monitor definitely keeps up for competitive play. I'd say it has roughly a 3.5 to 4 ms response time (I use the "Fast" response setting) and get no noticeable overshoot, even at 60 Hz. Input lag is perfect, and there are no anomalies with increased input lag at lower refresh rates. The build is better than I expected. It's still all plastic, but it looks very nice, and they even included a joystick (noice). I don't use the stand, but it's also great and wouldn't take up too much space on my desk. The monitor is plug-and-play. I made no adjustments to the colors, and they looked pretty accurate. The user interface is aesthetically pleasing and responsive. I highly recommend this monitor for competitive play. It provides a great balance of picture quality/clarity and speed. The last time monitors like this were available was 2018, and I've really missed them. So, I hope these do well, and we can get even higher-end versions.🤞 ... show more
