I am always a little baffled by the trendy water bottle brands. I don't think that the super-expensive brands are likely to be that much better than the ones that cost half as much. We have five cups from this brand now (four insulated chug bottles and one cup with a handle). I really like all of them. Chug lids are the best for school kids because the straws and complicated parts just provide hiding places for mold. My kids manage these easily. This one is pretty heavy when it's full, but I think that will be true of any metal bottle. The colors are great - nice variety of options and very attractive. I also really like the little sleeve for the base to keep it looking newer longer. I filled it up with ice and water the other evening and still found ice in it the next morning. It keeps drinks cold. We will probably end up with more of these as the kids graduate to larger bottles. I would recommend. ... show more

Update: seller informed me that reason for me receiving two different products was because one version was updated. They had me order a separate updated lid from their store and refunded me which meant they replaced the old lid free of charge. So I would consider that good customer service. I ordered 2 bottles of the 16oz size in different colors and the silicone ring in one of them (royal blue, see pics) did not have a pull-tab to facilitate easy cleaning. The other minor difference is the dimensions were different with the royal blue being taller (I have not actually measured amounts of fluid to see if capacity is indeed the same or not). Overall still performs like an insulated bottle should and the silicone ring missing the tab was not enough to make me return but I messaged company to see if I can get a tabbed ring and have not heard back (been 2 days). ... show more

It was important to me to find a water bottle that had a good color, that had a wide enough opening to easily fill with ice and water, that it would keep beverages cold throughout the day, that it fit in the water bottle pocket of his backpack and in the cup holder in the car, that the lid was EASY TO CLEAN and easy to open/close (as well as leak-free, and that the whole darn thing could be washed in the dishwasher. I am an adult and I like this bottle. I like the smaller size so I can fit it in my purse. I like the lid which allows me to drink out of a spout that is protected from whatever is floating by in the air. I love that the inner washer is easy to remove and replace. I liked the size of the bottle, but my 6 year old has a hard time with the top twisting and it’s because his muscles in his hands are weak. We had a water spill in his backpack because he did not tighten the top on good. It does keep his water absolutely cold all day at school. He’s in OT so things will get better.
