My Contigo thermos type hot & cold liquid containers did not, imo, match the the ease of design (also very attractive) & the ability to be cleaned so easily without the nooks & crannies that can easily build up mold. I kept my cold drink cold & drinkable for 24 hrs! great product, design & quality.

Because a lot of the plastic drinking cups that I bought for my daughter end up turning moldy and are difficult to clean, I decided to try the stainless steel cup. I love the color option. The purple is a nice vibrant color. I also like that it has a rubber at the cup could sit on and wraps around the bottom of the cup nicely so that every time it touches the table, it doesn’t make loud noise. It also is super lightweight and the drink stays either hot or cold well depending what’s inside of it. This is a really nice 12oz stainless steel double-wall water bottle. I have a 24os. Takeya stainless steel water bottle that I like, and this is a mini version of that water bottle. I prefer this kind of top on this water bottle and my Takeya water bottle because when you unscrew it to drink; the cap stays attached to the bottle, and you can unscrew and screw the drinking cap easily without even looking. Totally watertight, too. I'm using this 12oz bottle to take to the gym every morning for my workouts; it is small, portable, holds enough water for my workout needs, and doesn't tip over easily. I like how the carry handle allows for a 3-finger grip on the water bottle carry handle vs. the carry handle of my Takeya bottle which only fits 2 fingers. This water bottle also came with a silicon base pad, which other bottles on Amazon don't include. These silicon water bottle bases can cost $3-7 if bought separately, making this water bottle an even sweeter deal! ... show more

Ordered 5 in different colors for each family member to have one, and carry use regularly to encourage water drinking. Have tried ones with straws and such... and always felt cleaning was difficult and not thorough enough- difficult to get some spots and would end of throwing away due to mold getting in those difficult spaces even though just for water. Have also had leaking problems with many other bottles. These have been great. Good quality, easy to clean. Take a beating from the younger kids and no problems. Have to remind younger ones to close properly when not drinking so they don't spill, but no actual leaking problems. We only use for water, and it keeps cool for a very long time... still cold before empty and needing refill. Haven't used for warm beverages so can't really say for sure, but the quality has been great all around, and it has been so good at keeping water cold (even left in hot car), I imagine if would do good for warm beverages too. I think the only thing I would like to be better is access to replacement piece for the rubber holder at bottom to prevent sliding/scratching etc.... and that is only because I want ones that fit the specific bottle as the ones that come with it, and I have young kids who will lose them no matter how much I say to leave on the bottle, lol. ... show more

I purchased this because I wanted a water bottle that will fit easily into my refrigerator's water and ice dispenser, without tilting the bottle and trying to catch flying ice. This fits! The ice goes into the wide mouth without flying everywhere and the water doesn't run down the sides of the bottle and onto the floor when I fill it. We wanted to replace my son’s water bottle and chose this because it appeared easy to clean, and we were right. Bottle holds liquids cold for up to 8 hours, and has the handle so it’s easy for my 5-yo to hold. It has a screw-top for the mouthpiece, so no straws to wash either. There’s a removable rubber base to keep the bottom of the bottle safe from dents. If there’s a negative, it would be the width, it’s a wider bottle than most (think Thermos for soups) but overall we’re happy with it. ... show more
