Features

  • 1. Craftsmanship: The most eye-catching feature of the KONLLEN series is the four turquoise ring true inlays. The elegant turquoise is a traditional jade that is loved by people both in eastern and western countries . It has been worn and used for more than 5,000 years. In Western countries such as the United States, turquoise represents victory and success, and has the reputation of 'the stone of success'.
  • 2. Material: The butt of the cue is made of ebony. Ebony is one of the most valuable and rare woods in the world. Because of its slow growth period, the wood is extremely precious. The patina formed after polishing is very bright, like a bronze mirror. The unpredictable black pattern resembles famous mountains and rivers, making the Impressionist masters sigh. The charm of ebony lies not only in eye appreciation, but also in hand caress.rings, high-end style.
  • 3. Grip: The grip made of cowhide is soft and tough. The breathability is superior to other leathers, too. The surface of the cowhide is printed with a unique lizard texture, which has good sweat absorption and anti-slip properties. It is more practical than the glossy grip.
  • 4. Shafts: KONLLEN's shafts are undoubtedly made of 100% carbon fiber. With the blessing of black technology, it is harder than ordinary maple and not easy to damage. It is one of the must-choice cues for professional players who pursue the feel of hitting the ball.
  • 5. Packaging: KONLLEN high-end series comes with a matching wooden cue box, which not only protects the cues from moisture and bumps. And its exquisite packaging is also very decent as a gift for friends and family.

  • Worth the price!!! Love this cue!!!
Color: 09-AS-1F Size: 11.5mm tip
I apologize for the long review, but I feel it’s important to understand why I chose this cue and why I fully recommend this cue. The carbon fiber shaft that comes with this cue is as good as the Cuetec Cynergy 15K shafts that I have purchased. I had the 11.8mm Cynergy, but when the 10.5mm one came out I bought it and gave my 11.8mm to a friend that actually shot better with it than I did, but that’s another story. This is not intended to be a bash on Cuetec as I loved both shafts, but I couldn’t keep a tip on my 10.5mm one. Any lateral force and the tip would come off. I now attribute that to not having a pre-shaped 10.5mm tip and shaping a 13/14mm tip after it was glued on. Which I believe put too much lateral stress on the relatively small glue surface area. I might be way off base on that, but that’s my opinion. Anyway, not intended to be a bash on Cuetec as the 11.8mm never had that issue. However, I mention the tip not staying on the 10.5 only because that’s the reason I started looking for a back up shaft. Losing the tip the day before league or tournament play meant going to my older wood shaft(s). (The logistics of getting a new tip took 2 or 3 days). Because I watch a lot of pool matches and tips on YouTube, I guess the algorithm caused J Flowers cue reviews to show up. So, I watched quite a few. Regardless of the reviewer, it was basically the same result; great cue for the price, the Moori medium tip seems a bit hard, I would play with this cue but I’m loyal to [put brand here], etc. Not a single review found anything fundamentally wrong with the cue and all praised its performance. I did like that one reviewer stated that the shafts are the same regardless of the butt, and it’s the butt that makes the difference in the price ranges. You can get butts with basically decals for decoration or get ornately inlaid designs. I decided to purchase the AS-1 (11.5mm tip) Konllen branded cue from Amazon. The cue was available in 12.4/11.5/10.5 tip sizes. (I do love the 10.5mm tips, but was gun shy for reasons stated above). The cue can be found on the Konllen website. The price was the same from Amazon as it was on the Konllen site; however, I could get 1-day Prime shipping with Amazon. Ordered on a Friday and received by 5pm the following day (Saturday). I have had it 10 days now. All reviews I read or watched basically said the same thing about the hardness of the tip, so no surprises for me when it arrived. I started practicing immediately. At first, I didn’t know if it were the tip or maybe something different with the amount of deflection of the shaft as I was consistently missing just a little bit to the right (I shoot left-handed). In all fairness I had similar issues when I had to go to my wood shaft. By day 3 I had no issues with being slightly off on the aim and realized it was the tip hardness. I am unable to put as much english as I did with the soft tips I used on the other 2 carbon fiber shafts. However, I learned that I didn’t need to use the extreme english I was using before to get the spin and the cue location I wanted. So, my game has actually improved! Not saying I won’t go to a softer tip sometime in the future, but for now I’m staying with the Moori medium that comes with the cue. Seems like it will last a very long time. I also purchased the 6” extension that goes with the cue. It fits well. I tried to learn to play with it all the time, but it adds a couple of ounces to the 19oz cue, and I wasn’t ready for that many changes. At some time in the future, I may try to play with it on all the time, but for now I’m happy with just using it as needed. If you get a J Flowers/Konllen cue, I highly recommend it. I included a picture of a small spot on the butt of a chip in the finish. I felt it Sunday when I went to practice. I don’t recall miss handling the cue or banging it on anything that would have caused this. If I knowingly miss handled, I’d own up to it and wouldn’t mention it. After a short time I started ensuring my finger was on the spot; a mental thing I’m sure on my part. Only time will tell if there is a larger issue, but if it remains like it is I’ll be fine. ... show more

  • Nice pool cue , good price, slow shipping
Color: 04-AK75-12WF Size: 12.5mm tip
Although it took longer than expected to receive, USPS, it arrived well packaged. The box/case included is nice but doesn't have a handle if you wanted to carry it, I don't believe it was intended for carrying. I already had a nice konllen case so no big deal. The cue and shaft are very nice and straight as an arrow. The finish is almost as nice as my viking cue, and it is well made. The tip actually plays well right out of the box, I didn't have to shape or soften it. Holds chalk good and has great draw. I have seen the "cheap" carbon fiber pool cues by other manufacturers and this is in a totally different league. Only you will know how little you paid. It looks like a much more expensive cue. The shaft is extremely smooth and has great feel. The grip is nice and comfortable. The balance is right on. I look forward to years of pool play with my konllen. This was a great purchase. ... show more

  • Good weight. Inlays are buetiful. Quality built.
Color: 09-AS-1F Size: 11.5mm tip
Hi I bought this stick a few months ago and didn't shoot it right away. Tip needed to be changed. Then worked with it to convert from my other stick. This stick truly shoots amazring and with the 11.5 tip. It defines my English more on the cue ball. And I feel it has stepped up my play. Buetiiful cue love everything about it. Alot of quality in this cue. And it now is my shooter. ... show more

  • Good cue for the price
Color: 10-AS-2F Size: 12.5mm tip
The cue is straight and pretty. Shoots great except the tip. Tip was hard and just didn’t feel great so I swapped it out for a precision layered tip and feels much better.

  • Solid feel
Color: 01-KL10-12F Size: 12.5mm tip
Solid feel and nicely made. Clearly very straight. Nice tip that strikes firmly and doesn't slip. Not sure it is quite the weight advertised. I weighed at 18.5 oz but thought it should be 19.2 oz as in physical description. But instills confidence in my shot selection.

  • Great stick
Color: 01-KL10-12F Size: 12.5mm tip
This stick is well made and plays as good as any cue I've played with, including a $1400 Predator with Revo shaft. I currently also own a Cuetec with Cynergy shaft and I would not say the Cuetec is better or worse. The Cuetec Cynergy has a softer hit and sniper tip. That might explain why this stick gives you more feedback when you hit the balls. If you like a softer (more cush) feel, I would go with a Cuetec Cynergy or Predator Revo. But honestly, I am now favoring this stick over the Cynergy. It's really more preference than anything. Bottom line: This stick is definitely worth the money if you like a some feedback when you hit the balls. But if you like the softer feel, you may want to look at a different stick. Some people who own this stick say that if you change the tip to soft tip, the hit will be softer. I'm fine with the stick just the way it is. ... show more

  • Beautiful pool stick
Color: 11-KL--A1 Size: 12.5mm tip
This is a well made cue stick and looks just beautiful! We bought it for a friend and he loves the quality of the stick, and the weight etc. We also bought the extender, but not sure if he will need it or not. Arrived on time & includes a case.

  • Not a good stick and customer service is even worse
Color: 03-AK75-12F Size: 12.5mm tip
I noticed that the joint is out of position and you can feel it. The taper of the shaft is wonky. I have no idea if the joint movement is the cause of this but it definitely affects it's usability. Now customer service is a completely different issue entirely. I've told the manufacture several times I'm not interested in a refund I would like a replacement. Due to the fact that I bought it on sale they will not replace the item. I would not recommend this item or this company. ... show more
