I attached this to a Yamaha Wolverine with no real issues. The newer models of wolverine you will have to change from what the instructions show as the frame pieces have changed a bit, but it's not hard. Plowed through about 20-24 inches of snow the other day with zero issues. Probably not sturdy enough for heavy use if you are doing a small business parking lot or something.... but it will clear my long driveway pretty quick! ... show more

This plow was easy to assemble, and knowing it was a variable width, I assumed it may not be the most durable, but was willing to accept that for the price. It really surprised me, it went together easily, fit perfectly, and appears to be very strong, more than I’ll need!

Took longer than I thought to adapt to stallion 600. Have not used it yet. I'm sure it will save the day when it snows. I have used it to push top soil

    • Fits ATVs too (CFMOTO CFORCE 500)
Although Q&A says it won't fit, purchased for 2022 Gen2 CFORCE 500 ATV and it fits great. Looked through parts list for ATV VS UTV plow and difference is the utv has longer blade 60" to 72" vs ATV 48" to 60" and extenders for the push bars on UTV which I didn't use. Mounts seem to be same as ATV version has reviews that show some ATV installs need to cut for clearance and manuals show same images of universal mount, either way the UTV mount worked great on my ATV. Prior Kolpin plows were marketed for either UTV or ATV. Reason for deciding on UTV version is the ATV version 48" width at full angle is not wide enough for the track width of an ATV so would only use 60". 60" at full angle is wide enough and same for both ATV and UTV so UTV version gives option to go to 72" if desired. I setup at 60" first but decided to just set to 72" and see how it goes as 60" was just a bit over the width of tires at full angle. Try at own risk for ATV but seems to be great so far for my CFORCE 500 Gen2. Only issue is angle for winch lead if you mount to rear hook location, moved to angle adjuster rear hook location and is directly down. Ordered kfi plow poller fairlead to reduce load on stock winch fairlead rollers. ... show more

    • Very impressive
We got the Kolpin switchblade for utv and put It on our kawasaki teryx 800. It took us about 5 hrs to install. The 1st time we used it was 5" of light snow worked like a charm. The 2nd time we had 4" of heavy wet snow and ice let's just say my husband and I were delighted this plow worked FANTASTIC through it. It is now 3/15/23 and now more heavy wet snow 7" total. My husband is thrilled with this plow it had saved us s lot od shoveling by hand. The value and quality is substantial we would recommend this plow. We live in Maine so the weather is unpredictable.     • Great plow for a reasonable price.
Plow assembly was pretty straightforward. The company has a good youtube video that I watched prior to putting it together, but that really isn't needed. They only hairy part is when you mount the universal plate to your UTV. I have a 2012 RZR 570 that has been used quite a bit in the woods. The directions tell you to drill a small hole in the skid plate. Thats great if you have a new UTV. If you use yours, you will have about 3 inches of mud on top of that skid plate. Just lop off the skid plate where the U bolts go in. Trust me; it will be way easier. As for the construction, this is great for my 1/4 mile driveway 10-12 times a year. If you are looking to start a business with this guy, get something a bit more heavy duty. ... show more

me and my brother put this together and both of us are no strangers to turning wrenches, without rushing i think it took almost 2 hours... wasn't hard to assemble but there are a few pieces involved! brother bonding time is priceless so who cares!?!?!?
