Even though the cover says “botanical diary” I’m using it as an academic planner. Item comes well packaged, which works out well since one corner was slightly damaged on the packaging but not the item itself. It’s nice packaging I didn’t expect and makes the item seem higher quality than it being shipped in a plastic sleeve. The first page is for your information- name, address, phone, email- and has a floral image below. Sheets two and three are stickers. One is typical planner stickers (celebrate, relax, day off, birthday, workout, holidays, don’t forget, check list, do it, remember, important, to do, Doctor, appointment, travel, ok, exclamation mark, scissors, check mark, light bulb, plane, heart), and the other features thirty-five botanical stickers like you see on the cover. Then there’s a 2023 yearly calendar followed by a 2024 calendar followed by two pages of holidays in France, Italy, Poland, The Netherlands, the UK, Germany, Portugal, Spain, and the US. Two pages for birthdays and two dotted pages for goals Aug 2023-2025. Six pages for travel entries. Eight pages for schedule planning. Then each month has a botanical on one page before a smaller image with the month and a quote mentioning said month. The monthly calendar comes before the weekly ones, which are also dotted and feature a weather journal. Each (even) page also seems to feature a quote and small monthly reference calendar in the corner. After December 2024, there are some notes pages (sixteen), a pocket sheet (double sided), then finishes out with two bookmark cutouts. The botanical version doesn’t have a page I noticed the other versions do, mentioned in another review, about getting out of your comfort zone. I was really looking forward to that and assumed there might have been additional “challenges” throughout the planner, which was one of the reasons I purchased this. It wasn’t specified to be included, but it does seem strange that it wouldn’t be in this version. The planner is about thicker than any planner I’ve used in the past, but the overall size is about what I had expected. I tend to keep it at my desk, so I can’t speak to how well it will travel. The pages do go flat which help for easier writing. The pages are not a crisp white, but I really enjoy the subdued coloring and think it helps with the overall aesthetic. They feel nice and smooth and I’m curious to see how they feel to write on. While there isn’t a space for your pen, this seems easily remedied because there’s plenty of space inside the spiral to attach one. Overall, I think it’s worth the price and makes a nice planner. Very cute and just what I needed. It shipped fast but came damaged. I really want to ask for a replacement because of the dent but I’m not patient enough to wait. I tried smoothing it out but I can still see it. It’s just upsetting to pay 20 bucks and receive it damaged. It might have been damaged in shipping or storage.
