  • EXPERIENCE NEEDED
I purchased this item, not knowing much about Super 8. Because of my lack of knowledge, I had problems getting the film processed (there's only one place in the U.S. that develops black and white and it's in California). When I sent my film to get developed and it returned, I had to purchase an expensive light bulb for my Super 8 projector and I also bought an editor too. When I finally saw my film after a month, I couldn't make out the images. Everything was pitch black. I thought it had been processed incorrectly, but as it turns out, Super 8 needs a lot of light and I hadn't used lights for the film. Also, the parts I could see the character was moving very slowly. As it turns out I made another mistake, I set the frames per second too high and used too much film for each scene. Although lots of problems arose from one little cartridge and I ended up spending almost fifty dollars on fifty feet, the experience taught me a lot. The product was perfect though. It was MY fault. I advise anyone who wants to use Super 8 to take my advice and research this product before wasting time and money on a movie that won't turn out. ... show more

  • Kodak Price Gouging.
Way over-priced priced gouging by Kodak. Nice film, bad business practices. Shoot digital.

  • Great Film for the Super 8 Connoisseur
Bought as a present for my artist daughter who enjoys working with black and white film, she was thrilled to receive it as a present. Super 8 film seems to have some new fans out there and this film is not always easy to find.

Purchased as a gift, to go with an old second-hand camera for Christmas. They loved them.

  • a great find
This Super 8 movie film is great. This film is reasonably priced compared to other web site selling this same product. It was real easy to load and the film being in black & white will give my home movies a nice vintage feel.
