I bought these for our 6 kids' beds. 2 are Twin XL, 2 are regular twin and 2 are shorter twin (72" long). I washed and dried the bundle of sheets and put the first two on the short twin beds. They barely fit! There's no way these would have fit a twin XL mattress if they weren't stretchy. I haven't even tried them on the longer mattresses yet, but I'm not super impressed yet. These sheets fit excellently on our thick split king mattresses on our sleep number bed. We can adjust the bed positions and the sheets stay perfectly in place. I have bought other jersey knit cotton sheets for a much higher price but these are thicker.
