  • fabulous!!
Knee Scooter is perfection. I had one 3 years ago after surgery from a broken ankle. After recovery gave it away. just returned home after surgery to put in plates & screws for broken & dislocated ankle. Ordered the identical scooter I had before. Mobility is greatly enhanced. Has hand brake plus a brake lock. Brake lock makes seat a stable platform. very maneuverable, with smooth wheels & turning radius for our somewhat narrow hallways. Lightweight but sturdy. Easy for my husband, age 89, to put in back of our Jeep. We will not be giving this one away. ... show more

  • Easy to assemble, very well engineered, handles well
It was very easy to assemble in only 5-steps. There were only two parts. The knee rover handles really well and has a way to lock the break for stability when mounting or using it for balance while reaching for something. It's relatively light weight and can fold to fit in the trunk or even the back seat of the car. Really pleased with this product -- it's way better than usuing crutches! ... show more

  • Stable sturdy construction
If you have a broken ankle like me, this scooter is a must. It’s very stable and well made, but is light enough to throw in the backseat of your car to keep you mobile while your leg is healing. I use it in my business travel. It maneuvers well in the airport or grocery store. This is the mobility answer for my needs. ... show more

  • Seems solid
It seems to be better than the scooter I bought a few years ago. Fairly easy to h pack and set up. I like the need pad had adequate height adjustments. It rolls nicely. The one lost star is because the pad collapses quite a bit and my knee bumps into the hard platform through the cushion. In my opinion a better foam, with less compaction would be better. I hope the cushion lasts for the whole four weeks I will be non-weight bearing. The frame seems really solid. Why cheap out in the l we pad? ... show more

  • So sturdy, cuts around corners like a DREAM!!!!!
I could cry this is so nice. I'm 5'2", 120 lbs- and this thing FLYS. I sustained a fracture in my foot and the last three weeks on crutches was wild. Not for me. This popped out of the box so solid- easy 5 minute setup, and thoughtfully designed and the brakes are so strong. I easily did 25 laps around our little cape cod, and feel like I can have my life back now. Thank you! Thank you!!! ... show more

  • So much better than crutches
I’ve been using my scooter for about a week, after breaking my ankle and while still awaiting surgery. This has been a HUGE lifesaver. We have a very small house with narrow doorways and right corners. I ordered the GO model because it was listed as having the narrowest wheel width of the various scooters and I liked the idea of it folding to go in the car. I’m lousy on crutches, and I use them sometimes because they’re a much better workout than the scooter and I need some exercise. But when I’m tired or feeling shaky the scooter is so much easier. I’ve taken it to two doctors appointments so far, and it makes it so easy to get out of the car and go. Like others have noted, this is not the most stable of knee walker models because of the narrow wheelbase and the small rubber wheels, even though the frame is very sturdy. It’s tricky to go up or down inclines and small bumps, like doorways, require maneuvering. (I stand on my good leg and pick the front end of the scooter up over bumps - this may not work for other people.) It rolls great on smooth floors but has a harder time on carpets. I’ve been really happy with this purchase so far. I will hopefully only need this in my life for another couple of months, and I think it will be fine for my purposes inthat short amount of time. If I was going to need it longer, or had access to good flat walking paths, I would strongly consider getting the All Terrain model as well for outdoor use. I purchased the Knee Rover basket and Vive memory foam knee pad accessories as well, and am glad I did. The seat fits snugly once it’s on and the extra cushioning is lovely, and the memory foam cradles my knee and keeps it more firmly on the pad. The mounting hardware for the basket does not fit on the GO scooter well - it’s mean for a larger diameter tube. We used pieces of craft foam as shims to try to make it fit, and it stayed in place for about a week before it slid down several inches to the joint in the steering stem, and it seems fine where it is now. ... show more

  • High quality and very well built, folding, compact, 4-wheel knee scooter
This is a very well built, folding, compact, 4-wheel knee scooter. I also own the KneeRover PRO. I keep the KneeRover GO on our upstairs level and use the KneeRover PRO on the main level. I’m post-surgery and non-weight bearing for many weeks and scooters are so much better and safer than using crutches to get around. The typical hard tires/wheels on most scooters, the GO include, do not roll well on soft or padded floors or ground. Nor do they negotiate hills or cracks in a sidewalk or parking lot. If you plan on using your scooter outdoors, then I highly recommend the KneeeRover PRO. It’s a great device for both indoor and outdoor use. Unlike most knee scooters, the PRO is a trike and has inflatable, rubber tires. The tires allow you to safely negotiate rough, uneven terrain both inside (thick carpets, tile floors, door thresholds) and outside (parking lots, gravel, dirt, grass, sidewalks, textured handicap ramps, etc). The PRO has a rear shock that, along with the inflatable tires, dampen the ride. The PRO goes with me whenever I leave the house. Yes, it weighs a few pounds more and is larger than the GO, but I feel safer negotiating whatever I need to roll over. Some may find the PRO to be tippy, due to it having only 3-wheels. I’ve had a few instances of slight tipping (not falling) when I get careless and turn too quickly or reverse direction. I’ve had similar experiences on 4-wheeled scooters. I wouldn’t recommend any scooter if you have balance or dizziness issues. The PRO does come with a single training wheel that can be installed on the opposite side from your push foot for added stability. I like the single wheel on the rear because it never interferes with my pushing foot. I can’t say the same for the 4-wheeled scooters. I’m constantly bumping my push-foot ankle on the rear wheel of my GO scooter. Like most things, nothing is perfect for everyone or every situation. ... show more
