I'm renovating two houses side by side, and doing the work myself. I was dreading all the crawling around on my knees for painting baseboards, so I ordered these pads...and I'm SO GLAD I did! I strapped the pads on and started crawling around, and it was surprisingly...SHOCKINGLY PAIN FREE! Plus, it's great exercise getting up and down on the floor a hundred or more times a day, without aching kneecaps and numb toes. It works for me, and I believe it'll work for you. There were no instructions, but I have learned ONE important piece of info you might find interesting: Each pad has a velcro attachment straps - 2 on the top and bottom of each side - and one strap is longer than the other. MY SUGGESTION is to position the longer strap to attach on the outside of your leg. WHY? When the velcro straps are attached on the inside of your legs, the extra strap flapping in the breeze as you walk, can attach to the velcro strap on the other leg, effectively locking your legs together in a shockingly unexpected moment. It's possible that everybody else already knows this, but for ME, it was a revelation that the long strap should attach on the OUTSIDE of the leg. :-) ... show more

Let me start by saying I am no spring chicken, so knee pads are pretty much a requirement when doing any construction projects. I have bought more than 25 different manufacturers knee pads in my lifetime and every pair had some sort of flaw. They either hurt the back of my leg, or my knee did not stay centered, or they were way too big and bulky. I am VERY happy to say I have finally found the BEST pair of knee pads for the money, BY A MILE. Actually, they are the best PERIOD!! The Velcro across the back of the leg does not rub your skin raw. The hook and loop (Velcro) also does not stop sticking to itself, even after one year of ownership. They also still look almost as good as the day I bought them. The picture is of my second pair and the only reason I bought a second pair is the fact I am working 2000 miles from home and I left my back pack in my truck. No Brain, No Headache!! LOL!! Trust Me, if you need a pair of knee pads, just get them, you can thank me later. The safety glasses and gloves are a nice added bonus and they are actually of a quality that you will use them. Wow what an excellent deal to get bonus gloves and protective I shields with these amazing kneepads that allow me to do work in the garden for quite a while without feeling the recourse afterwards. At 54 years old these kneepads are safe years for my body and my peace of mind. Digging around in the dirt with no problem and the straps are not constricting. They are very comfortable, cup over the kneecap and have two straps to secure them around your knee hinge. The rubber protective coating on the gloves is ideal for working around the rosebushes and they are comfortable and you can and wash them. I wore the ice shields when I was trimming my lilac bush with lots of little stems poking out they were a perfect way to illuminate the branches because of the colored lens and they were safe and protected because they wrap around the side of the eye. For the money, I can’t believe I scored this deal compared to shopping at one of the big box hardware stores. The quality is very good. I will break them out today, because it is Earth Day🌱 Using these kneepads will allow me to be in comfort and enjoy the experience of welcoming herb and veggie starters to the planet. We have some other fun ideas for them too😘 ... show more

I have horrible knees at 64. Too many sports earlier in my life. As such, I’ve had a fear of getting on my knees on hardwood floors. Unfortunately, I have a need to do home projects that require me to protect my knees. I strapped them on and lowered myself to my knees. No pain! What a disappointment the gloves included with the knee pads are. The fingers are way too short for a man’s hand. The finger tips have some much material folded inward and sewed that you can’t use your finger tips to grab onto any thing with at least 1/2 inch of material clumped at every tip.. I can only get 2/3 of my fingers into these stubby finger gloves. Lastly, in the first pic you can see material that is suppose to be sew inside of the glove pinched and sticking out between the bottom of 2nd & 3rd fingers. It’s a shame that the materials used for these gloves is of above average quality for something that is unusable! The knee pads are well made and I expect I’ll get some good use out of them. I could have purchased similar knee pads for $10.00 less, but I was baited into thinking the gloves and safety glasses would have costed $20.00 more if purchased separately. Returning everything would cost us $5.00 in gas so I’ll chalk this one up to buy exactly what you need as the bundles aren’t really a good deal for you as they are for the supplier’s to dump 2nd quality merchandise. ... show more
