I got this for my daughter for Christmas. She was super excited about it and was one of the first crafts she did. It came with a bunch of paint and many different colors. It already has batteries in it. When she finished painting and turned it on she was amazed. She uses it as a night light!

Bought this as a gift for a craft loving 7 year old! She loved it! So fun to be creative and then get to have a unique night light after. Good value for the cost and good size, not too big, not too small. It has held up well too!

    • Cute night light- perfect craft
My son (6) is super into art and doing crafts at home and has a slight fear of the dark so I thought this would be perfect for him and I was right. He loved painting it, did it on his own and sleeps with it right by his head at night. It isn't too bright but is bright enough that it helps him with his fear of the dark. We didn't use the stand as it's level at the bottom where the on/off switch is so when he isn't holding it, we just put it down and it sits fine. The material is hard to break as well so no worry about it falling off something and breaking. The only slight negative is that the battery doesn't last very long at all. They are already dead and the type of battery isn't super easy to find. But overall I'd still recommend! I actually bought another one to have just in case! ... show more

This was a fun activity for how much the lamp costs. The lamp itself is smaller than I thought it would be but it was still a fun project. My girlfriend and I painted it but it would be easy for a kid to do. We used the sponges rather than the small brushes the kit came with.
