TLDR: works as advertised, great seller Want to give the seller mad props, for one. They are super-concerned that you're satisified with your purchase, and I'm good with that. That being said, I'm quite satisfied. The thing works more or less straight out of the box. Download the app, do the bluetooth thing, and zip-zap-zowie, you're up and running. The tape that comes with it for mounting is sort of so-so, and it might be that my particular installation has something to do with it, so no points off. Your mileage will vary. I attached it to a stiff piece of cardboard, and the whole thing fits nicely in my back window. The USB adapter and cables that come with it are more than adequate to reach from a front-seat power socket to the rear, unless you're driving a bus or something. I also like the inline switch, if you need to go dark quickly. My particular installation, I power it from a USB battery-brick. The app is pretty straightforward and easy to use. There's a bunch of admittedly cute built-in animations, and a mechanism to create your own. I'd like to see some improvments to the app - when building animations, it would be nice to have the option to use the previous 'frame' as the starting point for the next. Also, some cut-and-paste functionaility. But it's a work in progress, so I'll hang out to see what comes down the pipe. ... show more

Loved this concept and I was excited to use it but I live in Arizona and this just did not work out. The heat from the outside made it a problem and it wasn't even summer...so I knew it wouldn't work for me. So sad it didn't work out for me. :(

I basically bought this to message tailgaters to back off. A few problems... when you turn your car on, it defaults to a factory setting message. You literally have to use your phone to either turn it off or to change the message every time you start your car. Most of the time I don't want a message to be flashing - only when someone is tailgating and then you have to get your phone, do a few selections to get the message your programmed. It's a bit complicated while driving. It would be GREAT if you wanted a constant message to be shown, but not very practical for an occasional message. ... show more

These signs are fantastic, really amazing how much this technology evolved from the old boxy red-LED scrollers. These are great for storefront windows, glass or plexy barriers, or even car windows if you can get away with it legally. Big and bright, flexible to fit curved surfaces (so long as they're not compound curves). In my application, I needed to stick them to brick, and that is perhaps the one surface where you can't natively mount them...irregular/porous surfaces wont work with VHB tape, and while I could mount them to a backing plate and framed them, the end result would not have been what I was looking for on the brick walls behind the service counters. Otherwise, you get a solid full color message board with a good 24" x 4" worth of active messaging. ... show more
