  • Gave me a headache, but the seller made things right
One of the pads arrived twisted like a pretzel. I laid it on a flat surface for a week to see if it would regain its original shape with no luck. The top section is permanently twisted and puts pressure on my forehead, giving me a headache and making the pad unusable. Update: The seller reached out to me and apologized, then offered a partial refund toward a replacement. I returned the first one and the replacement fits perfectly. It’s also more comfortable than the OEM face gasket and the choice of a thin or thick pad is a nice touch.. ... show more

  • Good fit. Easy to clean. Lasts long
Good fit. Slightly uncomfortable but it's leather not cloth. Still can play dcs for several hours no problem. Cleans easy and lasts. I've been using for at least 6 months. I don't use the included nose cover as I like to see under the headset

  • Great for sweat, but not a permanent replacement for the original face gasket.
The original piece that comes with the headset is significantly better in terms of comfort and blocking light, but this product is still comfortable enough to use for other purposes outside of comfort. What you really want this for is handling sweat. Playing a more casual game like Half Life? Just use what you've already got for the best experience. Playing something like Beat Saber? Use this. Especially if you're sharing your headset with others. The plastic piece fits perfectly and magnetically locks into place on the headset. The product comes with 2 thin Velcro pads. You'll want to apply the pad yourself as it's not perfectly aligned when you first unbox the product. The pieces do fit on perfectly fine and stay attached with a good grip. Due to how thin it is and a larger gap around the nose, a significant amount of light will leak through the nose, though while playing beatsaber, I didn't notice it. The edges of the pad are somewhat sharp. It won't cut you or anything, but what I mean by that is that you may feel a rough edge lightly pressing against the side of your nose. Nothing too serious and only experienced this on one side. Might be able to solve the issue by adjusting the pad better. As for sweat, it's leather. Easy to wipe clean. Overall, I'd say it's a great purchase. I'd only use it if I expect to break a sweat, however. ... show more

  • It could be better.
It's a nice faceplate and all, but it has a few issues. It's shorter than the OEM version, paired with prescription inserts it doesn't leave room for adjustment and it forces the lenses to rub against my eyebrows. The rubber nose cover constantly pops out and stabs either side of my nose where the flaps make contact with my cheeks. I'd cut them, but then they might stab me more irritable when they do make contact with my face again. The padding is difficult to get into place as it's designed to fit a flat surface rather than a curved one, and it doesn't seat correctly on the gasket without more-than-necessary effort. The only upside is that it can be wiped off for easy cleaning. In short: I prefer the original gasket and could still be using it if the padding wasn't coming off. ... show more

  • Flimsy, doesn't hold together
The pieces of this mask are very poorly made. The rubber nose-cover does not stay attached. The Velcro is poorly laid, causing bunching and Bulges. The plastic frame is flimsy and fragile. The Magnets are weak and often stay attached to the headset when the mask is pulled away.

  • In hindsight, this was a pretty poor purchase
Where to start... The good thing about it is the gasket is very comfortable upon my face, it sits well and isn't irritable at all. It works very well. The bad: The nose piece is highly annoying, cheaply installed, and made me realize how much I actually use the little gap in-between my nose of my headset to see the outside world. First of, the little rubber/silicon flap is very difficult to rest well on my nose. It usually pokes or applies pressure in areas that make it impossible to ignore during use, so it is extremely uncomfortable. Second, after a month or so of use the nose piece has popped out and lost the ability to stay firmly attached to the nose area. It's difficult to place back in as well. Thirdly, it creates a blind spot that, in my opinion, I used very frequently to check my surroundings without removing the headset. With the nose piece blocking my view it requires partial removal of the headset to check my surroundings which also jostles the nose piece causing another bout of trying to get it to rest nicely on my face. Removing the nose piece allows too much light into the headset, otherwise I would have removed it completely. Overall, this facemask is very annoying if you are use to using that nose gap to stay aware of your surroundings and if it doesn't fit well against your nose you will be highly annoyed. It's a shame because the rest of it fits very nicely and is comfortable otherwise. I've found it best to place the face gasket on first before the headset to ensure the most comfortable experience, but any disturbance of that nose flap causes for a lot of interference. ... show more
