This cable cost around $16.45 at the time of writing this review. Which is way cheaper than the official cable from meta that would cost close to $100 dollars including taxes. Just purchased the quest 3s as an upgrade from my rift s and so far it seems to work well plugging in my pc and able to play my VR games without much issues and I did not what to keep missing with my router to keep a solid connection. However, the reason why I gave this a 4 star instead of five because I notice I can lose connection at times on the quest link not sure yet if it the cable or my pc that causing the issue but at least am still can use it and get a stable connection for the most part still trying to troubleshoot to lose connection issue. I also noticed it can be used to charge up the quest but seems to take a lot longer then the official charging cable that was supplied with the device. But I manly use the cable to physically connect to my PC to play games on the meta app and steam. Will give a later update if anything changes. Also the length of the cable is great and perfect for my area when I play with my VR headset ... show more

I recently bought a Quest 3, mainly for use as a PCVR headset for sim racing. Since sim racing is done seated, using a cable isn't really a problem gameplay-wise, so I went looking for one to use instead of trying to fumble around with my wireless router to keep things smooth. This one matches my price point, has a lot of length, and puts the USB-C connector at a 90 degree angle. I have no complaints about the performance of this cable. The USB-C ports on my 4 year old AM3 motherboard have no trouble pushing the data stream it needs. The USB-C connector clicks smartly into my headset and stays connected. The cable comes with a little velcro cable tie that I repurpose when using it to route the cable along the headset strap so it drops down behind me. It's a good, heavy cable with thick insulation that made it so I never lose connectivity when I'm racing. That's important to me, since the headset experiencing a wifi blip could well mean hitting a wall and a ruined race. This one's a safe choice! ... show more

It works and works really well. I was surprised considering how many times I have been told that the wired link method is awful. I played a graphic intensive vr game while wired for 45 minutes and the battery only drained 10%. That same amount of time connected wirelessly would have been an easy 30% battery drain. Description indicated that this would work with the Meta Quest three. It does of course since it's USB C Compatible, but It will not Charge the meta quest while you are playing it at the same time even when connected to a Anker IQ 45 watt charger. This sort of defeats the purpose of having a charger cable this long If I can't charge and play at the same time. I do not recommend this, if that is what you are intending to do.     • Does not Keep Meta Oculus 3 charged.

This cable seems to work except not for keeping your Oculus 3 charged while playing .The computer does recognize the cable and I had no problem connecting After about 30 minuets of playing Walkabout Golf, it lost about 16% from a full charge. I'm sure a lot has to do with the game you are playing.
