  • Repelled water like a champ
Size: 10.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I used this on my tent before I went camping in the Smokies and it worked like a charm. I sprayed all the seams first and then sprayed down the walls - all on the outside of the tent. It rained 2 days and I got no water at all inside my tent. Water beaded up and ran down without seeping through. I would highly recommend spraying your tent on a hot sunny day when you can set it up ahead of time and then let it air out because this does have a very loud smell sort of like nail polish remover. That smell wears off after its had a chance to dry though. Definitely 5 stars. ... show more

  • Works but...
Size: 10.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Smells terrible and takes forever for fumes to go away, I was outside and had to leave my tent and coat hanging for two days to get rid of smell and even after when I brought it in and put it in the closet, it would smell every time I opened the closet. Hard to be sure you got an even coat. I ended up having to spray my tent with water, take pictures of where the water soaked in, wait until it dried and then respray the areas. I also used this on an old Carhart raincoat with same results. In the end... did it do what is intended yes, my tent and raincoat are now waterproofed. Pro - results as promised. Big time Con... smell and off gassing... DO NOT SPRAY IT INDOORS (I was outside and the fumes were insane) and make sure any item you have sprayed has had a few days to sit outside or in your garage before you even think of bringing them inside or you will smell it for weeks (medical side note: it gave me a lovely headache from the vapors). Another Con - it may take a few coats to get full waterproof protection and for a larger tent more than one to two cans. I used 1 and 1/2 cans to do a small two person tent and a raincoat. You may also have to wet the item after full cure on first coating to check for missed spots, take pictures or mark it in some way and then let it dry to spray the missed area. ... show more

  • Works Well.
Size: 10.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I Waterproof two power circular saw bags. One was a Makita and the other was a Porter Cable. Because of the strong odor I sprayed both of them outdoors. One bag I was able to complete two heavy coats While on the second bag I was only able to put one coat down. In both bags, I kept the circular saw in them and the bags zipped closed so that they would retain their shape. making it easier to spray them. The bag with two coats I put in my workshop while leaving the other bag with one coat out So I could apply the second code to it, Need list to say, I got distracted doing other tasks and left it out overnight. And of course, it rained hard!! Fortunately, one heavy coat was sufficient as the inside of the bag was completely dry when opened in the morning!! Upon seeing thi ordered two additional cans even though It is more expensive than similar brands. ... show more

  • Spray it on my camping tent…
Size: 10.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I spray this on my camping tent every year. No color and easy to store with the tent. I want my tent to stay durable and have longevity. Doesn’t make tent stiff, just its normal material. Happy with it.

  • Follow the instructions
Size: 10.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I followed the instructions a week before a weekend of camping in the thunder storms. It was a brand new tent and I gave extra attention when spraying the seems and around the windows and door. The campsite was about 4 inches flooded and the inside of the tent stayed dry. Easy to use and worked great. ... show more

  • Not as water resistance as I had hoped
Size: 10.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I was hoping this would be more water repellent than it was. I sprayed 3 or 4 coats on different Keen shoes. Some with leather and some with cloth. I also sprayed 4 coats on the lower part of a pair of Carhartt ripstop pants. I ran some light water on the pants and the water did not run off very well. It’s possible when wearing the pants and standing vertical that they wouldn’t get wet but I have my doubts. The fabrics I tried to waterproof may have been the problem and other fabrics may do better and it’s not very expensive so it may be worth trying. I think I’ll try something else next time. ... show more
