Surprised how well these actually work! Still working on figuring out a “good” messy bun but great for pony tails (high and low). Once I’m done using all 4 I throw em in hot water or run them under hot water and they shrink right back to size :)

These work great but a lot of times, especially in warm weather, I like to keep a hair tie around my wrist in case I feel hot and I want to pull up my hair. These start to bother my wrists though because they are so narrow. I’ll just pull it hard to loosen up the plastic and it helps.

These work great in your hair but I would just wear them on my wrist like any other hair tie incase I needed to use it. Two of them broke in the matter of like 2 weeks and I hadn't had them very long so I guess the quality isn't that great.

    • Doesn’t pull out stands of hair

They came exactly as pictured. I was a bit skeptical at first that these hair ties wouldn’t pull out my long (below shoulder blades) fine but curly-ish hair. But with a two loop, one twist placement, it held beautifully. No pulling of hair, nor were there a handful of stands falling out with removal. And bonus! No ponytail bump for me. My hair does a wicked fine job of holding a shape - especially when you don’t want that flat spot or ponytail bump whether styled wet or dry. 🙃 I used ONE of these for the first couple weeks. When it got a bit stretched out and became looser of a hold, I used the hair dryer the reshape - as demonstrated in the video - the hair dryer was too warm for my sensitive hands (holding it in place so it didn’t blow away) so I detached the nozzel and used that upside down to hold the hair tie upright on the countertop and roll it around a bit while blowing the hairdryer into the opening. Even after the reshape it has started to lose its ability to hold as tight. I usually pull my hair back for workouts and prefer the hair to stay put. I can see the need to get these replaced often if like me with fine hair you’re wanting it to stay in place. On a typical casual style situation where I’m not doing burpees or running, these would be great. When I remove them from my hair, I don’t have several stands of hair being pulled out, nor have I been left with a ponytail bump. I purchased the clear holder for myself and for my daughter I purchased the brunette set. She has very thick (USUAL hair tie can only just make it around for a second time) curly hair. She too has enjoyed the lack of hair pulled out with the removal and no ponytail bump either. Although with her hair type it would be difficult to tell about the bump. ... show more

I have an extremely hard time finding hair elastics that last. My hair seems to be right between elastic sizes. One less twist and it's way too loose. One more twist and I risk snapping the elastic, and if I don't snap it at first, it definitely breaks after a few more uses. I've been wanting to try this type of hair ties for a long time, hoping that it wouldn't break and even if it's between sizes, it could contract to still hold my hair. I've tried it a few times over the last few days and they have been great! I'm still in between sizes, but I do one less twist and it still holds great. When I take it out of my hair, I worry that it won't shrink back to size but there was nothing to worry about. It takes time, but it does shrink back to size and I can put it back in the tiny box that it came in. So far, I have very high hopes that this may be the last set of hair ties I buy. ... show more
