Size: 10A Car Buffer Polisher
This polisher is a big boy coming in a big box. Has a nice carrying case, couple of control handles that can be attached per your preference. A whole set of polishing and cutting pads and even sandpaper is that is how you are using this polisher. It is a brushed motor for those who do or don't like that. Disc area is a 7 inch diameter and given my experience with it, i don't think this is for the inexperienced detailer. I had a lot of hopping but with the polishing compound spinning out, i thought i had enough for the pad so it was difficult to get right. Low setting is still a little too fast so not as accurate compared to other polishers. Trigger is hard to use. There is a lock out for the trigger to prevent it from turning on unexpectly so you have to push in the lock then press the trigger to turn on, requires two hands to get right. The worst part though, there is no lock to keep on, you have to hold the trigger the whole time. Not as handy as other polishers I've used. Very affordable but is shows in the quality of the product. Good to learn and abuse before you buy a quality polisher. ... show more

An inexpensive polisher that come with the basics for car care. One pad in particular, the Wool Bonnet, uses strings to secure it onto the 7" Velcro pad and, just to prove how silly the engineering department was, the little strings really sting at 4500 RPM. A bonus, they leave beautiful little red lines for all to see later. Another interesting thing, this one is looking at you Mr. Manual Writer, the manual says that you can lock the trigger to continuous operation of the buffer. Only catch is that the button for that is actually the safety. The trigger can't be depressed until you hold the button down and then pull it. If you let go of the trigger, the buffer will shut off. ... show more

Alright, I'm a complete newbie to Buffer kits. Decided to grab this because I know Rotary buffers are very beginner friendly and I'll be working on my first car soon. The kit came in the box in the pictures and not an Amazon box, which I'm completely fine with. It made it to me, so I expect the same for others. The package comes with a duffle bag full of goodies. I expected the entire thing to be plastic and light and was exceedingly wrong lol it's QUITE heavy, which is probably a good thing for buffers and it's not cheap. Came packed with different sized pads. I can't update on the performance yet, but I'll be using this on my Camaro to see how well of a job it does. Overall, very impressive! ... show more

Nice buffer made of quality materials. It has the power and performance to do a nice detail job on any larger vehicle. The value is great, and sometimes I use bigger coarse disks and use it to sand wood too haha

    • This ain't it
Size: 10A Car Buffer Polisher
Perhaps this unit would be suitable for working a small problem area... But its simply not cut out for compounding, buffing, or otherwise polishing an area as large as a car. The motor seems to run ok with no load, and the variable speed rheostat works - but the motor has so little torque that it bogs down as soon as you put any pressure onto the buffing pad. The trigger has no bearing on spindle speed, so you are constantly struggling trying to find the right balance of rheostat setting and down pressure to work the area the way you want. While this unit is 1/4 or 1/5 the price of a legit DeWalt or Porter Cable, I don't think it's 1/10 as good. I can not recommend it. In fact I recommend you save your money for a legit unit that will honestly do the job you want. ... show more
