We live in a small apartment and our kitchen counter is microscopic so this kitchen island is the perfect solution. 12 hooks, 3 layers of storage, a built in outlet, and a countertop that is within the measurements of what I exactly needed. My only issue would be the laminated countertop which isn't suitable to getting wet. Not really an issue since I could just get a protective cover. I wish the outlet was on the countertop or on the side instead of the 2nd row so I can plug in stuff. In terms of installation, I suggest not tightening the bolts all the way until you stand the whole thing up and align all the edges. Also dont tighten too much since it's really thin metal. ... show more

I bought this as a gift for my girlfriend because she was getting a little anxious over too much clutter on the countertops. Having this in an one bedroom apartment has opened up the entire kitchen area and makes the apartment feel more open! She absolutely loves it and is planning on how to use very square inch of it. The build was simple and took only about an hour and really only required the allen wrench for everything except for the outlet. a place to hang extra pots and baskets (sturdy S-hooks included!), and shelves to place storage bins and coffee supplies. I appreciated the choice of wood-tone colors and the leveling feet since we live in a 200 year old home...easily matched our built-in wood cabinets and a LEVEL, good sized counter-top to sit on a bar stool to have a cup of coffee. I especially like the novel charging station with two outlets for my coffee maker and cellphone which made it easy to set up a little space for a coffee bar.     • Excellent baker's rack or kitchen island
This is an amazing baker's rack! We don't have a whole lot of space in our kitchen and have been looking for something like this for a very long time. This has everything we need: hooks for hanging pots and pans, shelves, and a built-in outlet (including two USB charging ports) so we can keep cords organized and off the floor. The whole thing took under an hour to put together (and we took our time doing it). The instructions are easy to follow, as long as you're paying attention. You'll probably want a second person to help you put it together, as a second pair of hands really makes a difference when trying to balance holding the shelves up while attaching them to the side rails. Make sure to watch the orientation of the front and back support bars, by the way, or you'll end up doing like I did and having to take those off and put them back on again! It came out looking really nice, though, and it's exceptionally sturdy; I'm not worried about those pots and pans falling down at all. This is a great piece of furniture and is something I highly recommend checking out. ... show more

It took about 45 minutes to fully assemble this Kitchen Island. The instructions were clear and understandable, the parts were clearly labeled so there was no guess work.
