I normally don't buy gold filled jewelry, but I made an exception because the price is so low. Not much to lose if I didn't like it. But, wow, I'm really surprised at how pretty these pendants are! The stone is genuine, so the colors are vibrant and natural. The gold filled part of the pendant is hardly noticeable, it's just a bezel setting which isn't noticeable, and doesn't detract from the stone. I paired this with a 1mm 14k gold diamond cut chain, and it's beautiful! I highly recommend placing this heard on a real gold chain because the chain is cheap, because it is. lol I don't get upset like some reviews...you're spending $14 on a chain, it's not going to look real. So, my advice is to put it on a real gold chain. ... show more

The amethyst (on the right) is beautiful and what I was expecting. The sunstone (on the left) is a dull, almost brown color that looks nothing like the picture. It was supposed to be pink. I definitely do not recommend this version of the necklace.
