  • A velour lash lover
I’m a branded person so typically I would purchase velour 30$ lashes because they are the best. After a year or so of praise from an aunty regarding these lashes, I became optimistic. However I purchased four pairs total and made several attempts with zero success. Here are my issues 1. Liner. The liner is impressive. East application. Perfect wings. Attempting to put a thick layer on to ensure placement and prevent movement. The liner on resembles the feeling of a metal bad. Personally didn’t mind (beauty is pain) but that tight “glued” or magnetic liner - you’ll feel this. Difference of the two - glue doesn’t flake off so keep that in mind as the risks of flakes increase with the increase of thickness. 2. Magnet repel In the event that you attempt to curl or wipe your hand to have lashes curl forward - the magnetic band will flip like a normal magnet taking the flaked eyeliner with it. I gave this every chance assuming user error but after wasting four pairs of lashes this was crap. I would consider myself knowledgeable regarding makeup and carry a Sephora rouge card, I’m not a MUA and don’t need to be to know the difference from trash. ... show more

  • ***Update** May 2023 Takes some practice, but here are some tips...
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1) Color: Faux Mink #1
***Update*** May 2023 I have loved these lashes but the last few sets that came were "New and Improved" with 10 magnets. I DO NOT LIKE THEM!! The 5 magnet lashes were perfect- they stayed on well, were comfortable, and they looked natural. I've gone through 20-30 pair over the last year (a pair of lashes usually lasts about a week or two for me.) But now with the change... Boooo! More magnets make them heavier and they don't stay on as well. The band is now almost one big, thick magnet which does not look natural and it is way uncomfortable. The eyeliner tends to get clumpy and is hard to get off the magnets, so the new sets are only lasting 3 or 4 wears (versus 6 or 7 wears with the 5 magnet version.) I do not feel the "new" product is an improvement at all and I will likely be looking for another brand now. ********* (Original Review) I love these for long, full lashes that don't look completely fake. I have experimented and researched the best way to adhere them and this is what works for me: I use eyeshadow primer first. Then I used waterproof gel liner, but only a thin layer (or I dab off the excess... this helps absorb excess oils which will break down the magnetic liner.) Then I do 1 layer of magnetic liner, let it dry, and then do a second layer of magnetic liner. Important: do not put eyeshadow on until after you stick on the lashes. The powder (or worse, oils) will make the magnetic liner less effective. After the 2nd layer of magnetic liner dries, put on the lashes with the tweezers, being sure to firmly press them in place with clean fingertips. This may seem tedious, but for me, it's easier than doing 3-4 coats of mascara like I used to (and this looks much better.) It's a good idea to always carry magnetic liner for touch ups in case a lash unsticks... this may happen if you have oily skin or are in a humid climate (or if you just didn't put enough liner on or get oils/powder in the liner before adhesion.) I've read tons of complaints about removing the liner... you have to you an oil-based make up remover. (I use Clinique Take Off the Day and it comes right off with a cotton pad.) Yes, oil breaks down the liner, so keep that in mind when adhering them. Oil is bad for adhesion but great for removal! It takes a little practice, but I wear these everyday now and it's easy peasy. I will usually wear the same pair for a week or two unless they get goopy. You can gently scrape liner build up off of the magnets, but you have to be careful not to scrape the magnets off the lashes. I tried makeup remover on the magnets (DON'T DO!!) and it took the magnets right off the lashes. Oops! They also get worn out fast if they get bent or you sleep in them (which I often do when I nap and, yes, they stay on!) Hope these tips help! Like my review and subscribe... wait, just kidding... I get nothing from this review! Just hoping to help someone out!! ... show more

This was great for what it was needed for. Magnets lost their stick pretty quickly though. Could only use once.

  • Cool

The strips that are attached to the magnets are too thick. They’re not flexible enough to work with. They where cute after it took me longer then usual to attach.
