If you have a tall ceiling then save yourself a lot of time and money right now and secure some indoor scaffolding or a professional to install this puppy. The estimates I received for my height ceiling was $200 and & $300. Worth your life. Assembling it was a breeze, we did it in less than 10 minutes, but putting it up on an 18’ ceiling is another story. It’s heavy, and the down rods aren’t designed the best. Two are structural and two are decorative. The decorative ones fall off constantly while you’re manipulating the fixture. Not fun when you’re 18’ in the air holding a 50# fixture. To be clear, we didn’t weigh the fixture, that would be awkward, but it was freaking heavy. We ended up fashioning a pulley system from the attic, down through the ceiling and to the first floor to hoist it up while attaching the electrical wires. Trouble is, at some point after getting the wires connected we had to unhook the lifesaving pulley from the sweat shop in the sky and use our epic traps to hold the fixture up with one hand while fastening it to the ceiling box with the other. We are animals. If we had taken our advice above we would’ve had the indoor scaffolding and another human could’ve been up there holding while he fastened…but oh no. We were teetering on a makeshift ladder in the clouds, riding solo on this one. Like I said, we’re an animal…and the chandelier looks like a million bucks now that it’s up. P.S. “We” usually refers to “he”.😉

Gray wood light fixtures are hard to find and when you do find them they are usually pretty expensive. This was a great price and this company makes some unique and beautiful pieces. I love how this one looks in our home. We bought 4 from this company and all arrived well packaged with no damage. This company’s directions have been alright for each light, this one was easy to pit together. Highly recommend!

First of all, this light is a great value compared to other options out there. The light is massive and most other similar options are 2 or 3 times the cost. I put the light together and was happy with the quality. The instructions were easy to understand and it only took about 25 minutes to assemble. I had to have 2 electricians install it due to ceiling height. It didn’t take them long. It’s a very bright light! We put a dimmer switch on to control the brightness throughout the day. Every time I walk into my bedroom and look up I smile. It’s perfect!

Very difficult to assemble. The instructions weren’t helpful. I received two of the same sides (instructions say you’re supposed to have 4 pieces. There was only 2 and the same sides. Should have been opposite sides)… I called the number and they are only open Monday through Friday (of course I was assembling on the weekend). I had to “make it work”. Took me and my husband 4 hours to assemble and put it up. I like the end product, but not sure if it was worth the time and money. Looked like I got a used fixture, too.
