As you can see from the picture attached, the coins are big, shiny and they have a $ sign on both sides, perfect for what I wanted them for. I am running a D&D campaign and these 400 pieces of gold are great when placed into a leather pouch (like you’d see in a medieval movie). Because the coins only have the $ sign on them, it’s neutral for all campaign types (Any era of timeline). I look forward to giving these out as rewards for each quest completion inside the campaign. These coins are sturdy and attractive. The kids in our children's church group earn them for different activities and good behavior and are able to "buy" prizes donated by church members.

My coins look almost more like dirty silver than gold. Since I'm using them to make a fake dragon horde for a friend of mine it'll work fine. Just slightly disappointing.

We use these with our Tripoly game instead of poker chips because they are more fun - gold doubloons- in a way. They are light, because they are just plastic - but they are well made - we've ordered others in the past that were awkward and oddly different sizes - these are fairly uniform and no sharp edges - so we like them. We bought these to sprinkle around potted shamrocks in a green top hat as part of our St. Patrick's Day table decor and they worked perfectly! These are nice sturdy little plastic coins my kids called them pirate coins they earned them doing their homeschool work and are able to trade them in for prizes Some prices are one coin and we have prices which are as much as 35 coins it teaches them to save and spend their money wisely

I bought these to use as an incentive to get my kids to do their chores 😆 Our system is as follows: 15coins, they get an ice cream or pizza night and get to rent a movie. 35 coins, we take them to the store and they get to spend $30 or less on an item of their choice. They can only earn 1 coin per day if they do their chores. If they get in trouble more than 2x per day , they get a coin taken away. These coins work great for that! ... show more
