With this product I can now sleep in my bed and still sit upright with lumbar and back support that lets me sleep. The media could not be loaded. First off, this costs a pretty penny, and this was the cheaper of the several options I was deciding between. I did find a lightning deal that put this just under $100, which seemed to be more than fair for what you get. What made this set stand out to me was how squishy it looked. I didn't want to be sleeping on a brick block after surgery. I will tell you, it was a dream and exactly what I needed. I have a Casper mattress, which is supportive memory foam, and this is in the likes of that. It was squishy and supportive at the same time, cradling me. Having it pretty flat was best for me for sleeping, using the provided pillow as a head support, and using my regular pillows as arm supports on both sides of me. It was like a dream foam recliner in my bed. I used a regular pillow also under my knees, as the provided knew support was too large for me. I have had surgery in the past and tried to get by with just bed pillows and it was miserable. I knew I wanted to invest in something that would make my recovery as comfortable and restful as possible, and I'm so happy, 10 days post op, and going strong knowing I'll have good naps and sleep with this wedge pillow. I'll use the provided vacuum and storage bags when I'm ready to go back to normal. Don't hesitate, get this one, and wait for a sale if you have the time. Update 4 weeks post op: I tried sleeping without this one night last week, and it was very difficult to sleep after getting used to how cradling and supportive this pillow has been. I woke up with bad hip and back pain that lasted all day. So I went back to using this each night, just at a lower angle, and I get the best sleep on it. No pressure in my head and shoulders, like I do when laying flat. I might keep this as a normal pillow since I sleep so much better on it. Who knew 🤷 ... show more

This is actually a true, comfortable memory foam that properly cradles and conforms shape to each part of your body. Great for after abdominal surgery so I could sleep with no pressure on abdomen. Very adjustable, from sitting upright for reading to a slight incline for sleeping. Much better than other similar products that claim to be memory foam but are dense foam and hard as a board. Only issue is the cushion for under the knees is a bit too high for my short legs. Overall, I recommend this set. ... show more

So a lot of people sleep in a recliner which we have on our main floor but that is also where are cat and dog sleep. I put this in our guest room so I could sleep when needed and rest in private. I won’t lie this is amazing and so comfortable. I’m not a back sleeper but laying on this and putting pillows around my left side since you have to elevate your arm has been a game changer for me and I would recommend this to anyone. ... show more

    • Post surgery memory foam is not ideal for sleeping on!

Don't get me wrong, it is a good pillow set, it just is not ideal. The setup is easy enough, but the Velcro holding it together could be arranged a bit better. The head pillow is long and narrow. It works fine, but after a bit you may want to move up or down. Guess what, the Velcro is only in one place, so you end up taking it off and now the pillow moves too much. I ended up using one of those neck pillows that go around your neck to replace it and that worked better. The main pillow that you rest your body on stayed where it was because of the backing is made to not slide, and the one for your legs is comfortable enough if you want to sit and read or watch TV for a bit. ... show more
