I've bought 2 different brands of mattress in a box from Amazon the last several years and it has always been the same, eventually it sags. Finally, i bit the bullet and got myself a hybrid mattress to help with adding support. PROS: First thing i noticed with this mattress when i opened it was the lack of smell. I've bought multiple foam mattresses in the past for myself and other family members and there was always a strong plastic smell. There was barely a noticable smell when i had this mattress unpacked. I left it over night to air out and by morning, i couldn't smell anything. This is a huge plus considering it was a problem with other mattress in a box. The main thing i bought this for was the additional support the coils provide. With foam mattresses, you tend to sink in and when you sit on the edge of the bed, you slide off. This hybrid mattress fixes that. No sliding or sinking, it performs kinda like a regular mattress. The euro pillow top is nice and soft and with the combination of the coils, it gives you a nice bounce and support. I tend to like a firmer bed but this is a nice balance with being plush and medium in firmness. Currently, this hybrid mattress is being used with an adjustable base. No problems with any creases forming, not like a foam mattress. CONS: Nothing to really put here. As far as comfort, it was definitely an upgrade from a foam mattress. Only thing that i found was the length of the bed was 1" shorter (see pictures). My old bed definitely went against the wall all the way to the bottom of the base where the bracket meets the bed. The shorter length actually benefited me because it made it easier to add and remove the bed sheet. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, the hybrid coils inside the mattress addressed the problems i had with a foam mattress. If i were to purchase another hybrid mattress, i will spend the extra money and get the thicker 12" one. ... show more

After extensively reading review for months, I purchased this mattress about a month and a half ago. I am very impressed! Did not expect such a comfortable mattress for the price. My wife has stenosis and constant issues with sciatica pain and she loves the bed. (Happy wife, happy life?) So after 45 days, the bed has been wonderful. I didn't buy the frame because we have a waterbed frame which works perfect. Like other reviewers have mentioned it did have an odor when I took off the plastic. Kinda of a chemical smell but it dissipated after I let it sit for the recommended 72 hours. As far as firmness, I believe it to be a medium firmness. You barely sink when laying on it. Customer service is pretty crappy. I sent them an email asking about return policy or warranty and they never replied. From what I've heard from others is that they follow Amazon's return policy of 30 days which was big gamble for me beings I've never ordered a delivery mattress and I couldn't try it out before buying but I'm glad I took the risk. When I wake up, I don't want to get out but I also feel refreshed because I had a great night sleep. I never knew how much better you feel when you have a good night's sleep. This is the first time I have ever had a brand new mattress. I've always had hand-me-downs. In my personal opinion, I believe the mattress to be so comfortable is because it has coils in it and not like just a memory foam mattress. Look, the bottom line is believe all the good reviews you read about this mattress because they are true. I completely recommend this one. It's amazing. UPDATE: 1/23/2020 It's been about 10 months since I last reviewed and about a year I've been using this mattress. I'm still very happy with it. One concern, you can't flip this matress because the bottom isn't padded like the top. So you can only give it a 180 degree spin. I haven't turned it yet in the year that we have had it and I'm still sleeping well through the night. Beings it's been a year, I'll probably go ahead and rotate it and go another year then see how the mattress is from there. One thing I would like to mention is that every know and then I feel a pop inside the mattress which I think may be the coils. I'm not sure if it's popping in a bad way like they are popping out of placement or if it's nothing to worry about and it's just the coils adjusting or something. Either way, the bed is still just as comfortable as when we bought it. UPDATE: 9/03/2020 The wife started complaining that it wasn't comfortable on her side anymore so I rotted it 180 degrees. This was about 3 weeks ago. Shes still complaining. 🤷♂️ Personally, I will admit its already lost its "new" feeling. But I can't say its uncomfortable. It definitely doesn't feel like when I slept on it in the beginning where I didn't want to get out of bed in the morning. But I'm not having any problems either like back pain or anything. I feel like it "broke in" entirely too fast but this is my first new mattress. UPDATE: 10/06/2020 Ok so another month has gone by since my last update. I gotta say, I'm ready to get a different mattress now. I'm waking up with lower back pain. This morning the wife was already up and out of bed so I rolled in the middle of the mattress. By doing that I could really tell how much the areas we sleep in have sunk. The middle feels brand new but as soon as I roll over to one of the areas we sleep in I feel like I'm rolling into a huge hole. Un acceptable! I'm ready to burn this thing and go and buy a real mattress. ... show more

I've had this mattress for 4 years now and it's still just as comfortable as when I bought it. I purchased it after having my second shoulder replacement and was extremely happy with the comfort. It's not too hard or soft. The inner spring base keeps it firm and the memory foam cushions my body perfectly. I rotate it every three months, just wish it was flippable . Purchased this queen size mattress from Sweetnight almost 2 weeks ago. It came in a box and rolled in airtight plastic wrapping. It was convenient being rolled up, I pulled it out of the box and was able to get it upstairs in the roll while it was still rolled in the plastic wrapping. I removed the first plastic wrapping which unfolds the bed. It came with a tool to cut the secondary plastic, which was wrapped protecting the bed. There’s also a manual with instructions to open the mattress and cleaning and care steps. After I removed the secondary wrapping I gave it a few hours to fully form itself. Sleeping on this mattress a few days and I am very satisfied with my purchase. For me the bed feels pretty firm and comfortable, to what I was looking for and my sleeping needs. I’ve slept on my back and side through the past nights with no trouble or waking to feel I have to adjust my posture laying. There’s a soft gel top which keeps the bed feeling cool and not hot through the night. I also use Egyptian cotton blankets and the gel top increases the coolness through the sheets. Overall, after close to 2 weeks, this mattress is perfect and fits perfectly to my needs. Would recommend and will look to a larger size when ready to replacing another bed in our home. ... show more
