We love the Cranberry Almond Kind bars and eat a lot of them. They are our favorite Kind bars and an excellent snack. The rating is not for the actual product, which is definitely 5 stars. We've ordered several boxes of these Kind bars from Amazon and have also purchased them by the box directly from the grocery store. The issue is that every box we've purchased from Amazon has irregulars. It seems like they sell the perfectly cut and fresh bars to brick and mortar stores (where customers can also buy them individually). We've found shorter, misshaped, stale, and rock hard bars all in the same box from Amazon and every box we've received has irregular product. The price difference is nominal (it is sometimes less expensive at the store), so when possible we try to get them from the grocery store. It's too bad we can't get the same fresh and quality product from Amazon since it's convenient. ... show more

CALLED THE KIND CO. DUE TO STALE HARD BARS AND THEY SAID IF I WANT A REPLACEMENT I HAVE TO SHIP THEM BACK FROM LOS ANGELES TO NEW YORK AT MY OWN EXPENSE. EIGHT BOXES AT THAT DISTANCE IS A NO WIN SO NOW IM THROWING THEM AWAY. THANK YOU VERY MUCH KIND COMPANY!!!

I love these Kind bars, they are my absolute favorite, and when I saw what a good price a big box was compared to the grocery store, I had to buy them. However, these taste terrible. They smell bad, almost chemical, and leave a disgusting after taste that will not go away. I thought maybe it was just me so I tried another. Same thing. I left them for a few days and tried once more and they were so gross. Immediately upon opening the bar wrapper you smell this scent almost akin to gasoline. I keep a nice stock of these at my office in my drawer. It is great to have a somewhat healthy snack on hand. There are tons of almonds and a nice coating of chocolate (mocha flavored, Mmm) on the back side. These are great when you don't have much time, still want to eat a little healthy, and have a little treat at the same time! These are also great for on the go. Bought two boxes of two varieties of Kind bars before a trip to Japan on July 30. This package of - "Kind Bars, Cranberry Almond Plus Antioxidants with Macadamia Nuts, Gluten Free, Low Sugar, 1.4oz" was so rancid I couldn't eat it. Unfortunately, I didn't try them until after I left for Japan and didn't return home until after the August 23 "return window" had closed. While I may Kind bars again (the bars in the second box - Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate - were good), I will definitely try one in each box immediately on receipt. I’m wondering why this entire box of bars are cut very straight across in each wrapper, excluding a ¼ of each bar??? Box didn’t get overheated innshipping & somehow condensed bars. Wrapper isn’t stuck on any, all still fresh. Never encountered before buying in store & tried ordering online for convenience & not a mini but not a full blueberry & pomegranate Kind Plus Bar. These bars are sold at my work place, and per piece they are cheaper here on Amazon. However the quality is god awful. The bar is so sticky to the plastic, and it is an amazingly bad mess to eat. The ingredients are also stale compared to buying it at work or at a grocery store like Sprouts. Compared to anywhere else I've bought Kind Nut bars, these bars also have a bitter aftertaste, which is a big noticeable no-no. Honestly I would guess that these bars have been cookin in either the Amazon warehouses or the delivery trucks somehow. Either way, Sticky and stale, a different experience when buying these from a vending machine or grocery store. I bought the sea salt caramel pack of these bars off of Amazon here and the same problem occurred there. So be warned, unless you like stale and very sticky Kind bars, you're better off buying a pack of these elsewhere. ... show more

I ordered the cranberry almond. As soon as I open the wrapper, I am overwhelmed by the smell of chemicals. Hoping it was my imagination, I took a bite and felt like I had a mouthful of nastiness. If that wasn't bad enough, I talked a friend into confirming with a second bar! My firiend has yet to forgive me for talking her into tasting it.
