The mattress was ready to sleep in less than 2 hours. It has a plush bouncy feel to start with and the foam adapts to your body to create a firm feel as you rest on it. There is no sinking in. This is the difference from other mattresses i have purchased. I like it.

I saw a lot of reviews saying this bed is too firm, so I was skeptical about buying it, yet this is one of the only beds that promised no smelly chemicals and fiberglass and such, so I risked it, and I’m glad I did! We’ve had this mattress for 3 months. I was looking for something without fiberglass in the cover! So glad we took the risk on this, we wanted firm but memory foam like. But not memory foam. Lol It helped my husbands back, he had Lower pain that has dissipated since using this mattress. I have even noticed my body feels more supported overall. We both side sleep and stomach & this supports. Our old (hybrid) mattress that cost 3x as much was not even 5 years old & lost support the last couple years. My old mattress was the firmest memory foam ever and I LOVED it. I was hesitant to buy online because it seems like other people's idea of "firm" is my back's idea of a squishy and unsupportive nightmare. I decided on this one based on a few reviews saying it was too firm (sounded good to me). After a few weeks, I'm very happy with it. First, it doesn't have a chemical smell and doesn't contain fiberglass, yay. The firmness is, to me, excellent. It feels a little more plush than my old one, but not like I'm sinking in. It feels luxurious and supportive. Edge support isn't a big deal to me, but it definitely has less edge support than I'm used to. If you sleep on the edge you might care, idk.
