A lot of faux fur products feel very synthetic and not too soft, but this rug is so much better. I noticed some reviews mentioned that it's not very padded and more like a throw blanket on the floor, but I disagree. It has enough padding that it makes a difference for sitting on the floor. The rug is thinner than the advertisement pictures. It's soft but not as fluffy as advertised. It's also a few inches short on the width and length. Not bad for the price though.

Very soft, looked great for a while. Put this between beds in the kids (9 &11) room. Definitely not for high traffic area. Vacuum goes over easy but doesn't pick anything up, bits of stuff get trapped in the shag. About eight weeks in it started looking matted down with bare spots showing through, no longer soft where walked on and we don't wear shoes inside. Good for a temporary fix but not durable. Looks shabby now, not in a good way. Positives are it doesn't shed, and laid flat nicely over apartment carpet. ... show more

We bought this to cover some of our wood floors so that our older dog would not be slipping. I liked it so much I bought more for my bedroom. Can't beat the price. It is somewhat sturdy. I've had it for about 6 months, and I am JUST starting to see the edging separating from a high traffic part of the rug. It gets LOTS of wear and tear. It's also had a few things spill on it and we used our rug shampooer on it. It held up OK - It looked flat and weird for a few days after until it got worn back in again. It is exactly what you would hope for the price. Also - it comes in a REALLY small package - I was totally disappointed when I first received it - I couldn't believe it would fit in the vacuum bag it came in. And was thinner than it looks in the pictures, but once you shake it out - it really fluffs up, but definitely not what I expected initially - but it is REALLY cheap for a rug!!! ... show more
