    • Almost as bad as their Intenso roast
I can't imagine even one who's never had anything but reheated instant espresso that's been boiled in a tin can could drink this. It's like sucking on a piece of charred wood. I made this in my Nespresso Pixie and nevermind black, this has no resemblance to any sort of coffee than it does drowned in milk and sugar. I would swear it's potting soil in these Pods and I tried the Kimbio Intenso first then bought this hoping for at least some semblance of a coffee-like flavor but as with the other it's just impossible to get drink. I wouldn't believe any review of this brand above 2 stars. After half dozen alternate Nessespresso compatible brands I've finally found one I should have started with for a few more cents per Pod but now that I know how rare it is to get around Nespresso prices I'm not sharing.     • Great value, works well with Nespresso original
I drank a lot of Kimbo coffee when traveling in Italy and these taste exactly like that very same coffee, because it is! I found this to be a great value the price per capsule is significantly less than the Nespresso brand. One thing to note however is that this particular blend in the capsule is composed of a combination of Robusta and Arabica beans. The result is a strong flavored beverage with a little more caffeine. I believe Kimbo also offers different blends and I look forward to trying those as well. ... show more

    • Not as good as Kimbo ground coffee
The coffee is not as flavorful as Kimbo ground coffee, neither strong enough for the grade 10 - by far. It tastes good but very weak, like there is not enough coffee grounds in the capsule. The capsule works well with the machine and the froth is nice and smooth, but in the absense of good strong flavor it's disappointing. I used these capsules to make espresso for the tiramisu dessert, and Turamisu was not as good as usually, when I use the original Nespresso pods (Ristretto, that is also rated 10). Love Kimbo espresso! I lived in Italy for a while and brought a ton of these back with me. So happy to see them available in the US! Much more affordable than Nespresso. I have never had a single issue with any of the pods not working in my little Nespresso machine. I like both the Napoli and the other version that's silver....can't think of the name, but they're both excellent. ... show more

    • The perfect cup of Espresso
I tried many Nespresso machine fitting capsules and this pone not only tastes as good as the original , the capsules also have a perfect fit for the machines. Never got one jammed and the flow of the coffee is perfect. I recommend!!!

    • weak and watery - disappointing product
capsules evidently are not filled with coffee or do not puncture correctly (after many tries) only warm/hot water is expelled for the first half of the cycle. Nothing like my previous order of Kimbo intenso 12 - those capsules work great and have wonderful dark rich flavor.

I’ve been buying Kimbo coffee since practically I came in the US 20 yrs ago, because it is one of the most available and also considered a very good coffee in Italy. Amazon has it available for Nespresso (one of the very few real Italian brands there) and at half price of the Nespresso capsules. Can’t beat it! ... show more
