I was really excited to try a Kimberbell Bench Pillow. I got "America Land That I Love", and it was my first Kimberbell project on my own (I took a class in a local shop for a smaller project). I will say that it is beautiful done, despite my mistakes....definitely a very nice end result. I would not say that it's really appropriate for an absolute beginner. You do need to know enough about machine embroidery to know the steps to do the appliqué flags....it is not spelled out in the directions. Not sure I'll do another one, but I'm glad I got to try this! ... show more

This was my 3rd Kimberbell bench pillow and due to the repeated wreath design it was the easiest and fastest to complete. Thanks to Kimberbell for providing me with the exact dimensions of the wreath pieces so I could adjust the SVG file upload to my Cricut (Cricut has a major issue with not uploading SVG files in their native size) I was able to cut out all the appliques pieces on my cutter and the embroidery stitch patterns were exceptionally accurate to stitch them onto the pillow.
