    • Quiet at last
I used this on the floor and firewall in the cab of my Class C motorhome to reduce engine and road noise. It was a little messy to handle but easy enough to apply, and the end result was worth it. The box contained quite a few more sheets of sound-deadening material than I needed for the motorhome so I used some of what was left over on the floor under the cargo area of my Ford Escape to reduce road and tire noise. In this case I was exceptionally pleased with the result, as Ford installed absolutely no sound-deadening material at the factory in this part of the vehicle and the reduction in road and tire noise was dramatic. The Kilmat had a tarry, asphalt-like odor when it was first applied but the smell disappeared within a day or two. This stuff works very well and is a good value for the money. ... show more

It’s thick and very sticky so once it’s been applied to the surface, you don’t need to worry it falling off. I applied them on all four doors and trunk panel and it does dampen the road noise. If you spend lots of time driving, it is totally worth it buy them.
