I tested this when they arrived and I wasn't convinced at first. After a couple of days the water wasn't turning blue after flushing. I then opened the tank lifted the little container and shook it up a little bit. after doing so, it began working as it should. It's been at least 30 days and it is till going strong. I would buy this product again. ***UPDATE 1/11/24 I will buy this product again. Lasted about 3.5 months before having to change it out. I will admit the toilet isn't used extensively but still lasted a long time. Maybe flushed 5-6 times a week. Great product, I would buy again. ... show more

Product said last for 6 months. I had one toilet that is more heavily used that lasted for 5 months and a less used toilet that lasted about 4 months. Also, there’s no weight and when they run out the plastic floats and gets caught in the flapper causing it to stay open and run. It happened both times. Thinking a pebble placed on top might be enough weight to counterbalance the floatation of the plastic. And then maybe even get another few weeks out of it. Still sufficient product. ... show more

Product does nothing to help keep bowl surface clean! And does not last at all as long as they claim! Runs out too heavy at first, so think it clings to the walls of the bowl and because of this it runs out of product way too soon! All this does is for a short time, make the water in the bowl blue! It does work well but: 1. With 20 to 30 flushes left in the container it becomes lite enough to move in the tank and props the tank flapper open. The water will run until you remove the tank lid and remove the container from under the flapper. 2. The container needs a weight inside so it will not move or float when almost empty. 2. Be sure to wear latex gloves, because is will stain your hands blue when wet or any thing else it comes in contact with. It is messy to install and especially to remove from the tank! ... show more

I am amazed at how long they last. All the other products similar to this that I have bought in the past, would only last maybe 3 weeks - this one is still going strong after nearly 2 months! I'm thrilled about that and the fact that it is pretty consistent with the blue color. This helps from having to clean the toilet bowl nearly as often as I used to. This product works great. I use it when traveling and leaving my unattended for periods of time. Although it gets the job done, it turns the water VERY BLUE. Compared to other similar products I have used, this one has very little smell, which is a plus. It is important to remember to keep the lids closed if you have pets.
