The media could not be loaded. Just arrived today. I used some of these key caps on my new MCHOSE K99 mechanical keyboard. Didn’t want to replace all the keys because I still really like the original keys from the keyboard. These ice cream dram key caps from KiiBoom sound awesome and feel awesome to. NOTE the space bar is a bit tall but I probably wouldn’t notice if I switched all the keys because they’re all a smidge taller than the standard keys from the keyboard; which I think are cherry or moa profile. Nonetheless, these new key caps fit perfectly and I really like how there’s a few key cap options like the enter key and shift keys; others too. So I’ve got some keys I can use perfectly while others won’t fit this specific keyboard I have. The overall look is whimsical and light. They look phenomenal, despite being a smooth type they never feel greasy/nasty when I hit that doritos bag like an epic poggers gamer, the packaging is great, the legend is printed very large but tastefully, they have a fairly deep sound to them Cons: they are slippery due to the material (but only comparing it to other types it's fine imo), they are loud (I have silent switches but if you don't be prepared they can be clacky on an average linear switch) I don't always do my rgb that obnoxiously but this is midday with my curtains open to give you an idea. these keycaps are super cute and it also comes with a bunch of extra keycaps if you ever want to switch them out! these keycaps feel so soft, comfortable so use, and sounds pretty satisfying too! the only downside would be the price but I’m still happy with it!

I love love love this keycap set! It goes perfectly with my Kiiboom keyboard. There’s so many extra keys that come with it too so you can choose the right keys you want to use. I’m definitely in love!! They are such nice quality too just like their keyboards! The price is worth it for what you get.

    • Backlit keyboard not ideal (but pretty)
Using these keycaps with a backlit keyboard is very difficult unless you can lower the brightness. The print is white which makes it very difficult to read the keycaps, and the backlight shines straight through the keycaps into your eyes. On the other hand, they look like smoked glass or crystal and they're really pretty and give a nice vintage fantasy vibe. The surface texture is very glossy as well, and they sound fairly good. The quality is acceptable for the price, and this kit had all of the weird key sizes that I needed for my keyboard which was very nice. ... show more
