If your gunna get your kid a reliable smart watch spend a lil more because this watch hasn’t allowed me to connect to the watch to add contacts, set up date or time, basically the APP is useless the watch can make or receive calls but as far as the other “features” they do not work. I bought this watch for my elementary school-aged child, as it allows him to easily call my number. I need to use a SIM card in the watch for this function. While the camera quality is not great, my main goal is to track my child and the build quality of the watch is good, as my child likes it. You can't set the time or date on this watch unless you connect to the ap, even with service. I've tried both apps, connecting and disconnecting with no luck. The app won't connect to the watch. I would have returned it if I didn't miss the cut of date-- that's how long it took to figure out the ap is a piece of junk. I was able to get service, so we can still use it for emergencies, but it doesn't function as a watch unless you want to know the date and time in China. It doesnt work on any app i cant even track my son ,cant set the time and date and ill been spending 2 days to figure it out how to set the watch i wont buy this again..what a waste of money and the map is in hongkong and offline service.

First, make sure you punch out the correct size of SIM card. I punched out NANO when it should be micro and could not get the watch to sync to the app, call out, etc. I finally figured that out and now it will place calls and I assume it will send voice messages. It does not have coverage at my house so anytime I try to fix sync issues and whatnot, I have to drive to a location where it gets service. I also finally got the time set correctly but there is no place to set the date on the watch or the app that I can find. It's for a 9 year old that will likely tear it up with a quickness so, for the money, I'm not too worried about it. I purchased this item for my 6-year-old, the item was very hard to set it up and didn't come with a QR code to register the watch to the app. I got this item exchanged in the hope to get a QR code in the box or watch. The second time same SCENARIO, I got the phone part to work but still no QR code to register on the app, got some water from the rain fell into the watch, and got ruined instantly.
