I bought this for my 10 year old daughter (yes I know it's really for boys) but she wanted to be Baymax. She's about 4'6" and it fits her perfectly- would guess it would fit a child anywhere from 4 foot tall to 5 foot tall. the material is slightly a little see-through so your child should wear light colored clothing underneath and it works perfectly. The mask only covers the front of the face so we are going to find something to pull over the back of her head to cover it up. The batteries that blow up the suit did not come with it (4 AA) but they have lasted a long time- the controller for the fan just fits in a pocket on the inside, no problems at all ... show more

I thought it was going to be cheap or poor quality but I was happily surprised!!! It is awesome, works great and my son was the talk of the whole neighborhood. It was a smash hit and easy to wear/operate.

Adorable idea but seems cheaply made despite high price. Zipper broke at first use rendering the costume unusable since it inflates. We repaired it but had trouble with the motor acting intermittently despite fresh batteries. Speaking of, when it is working as advertised, you will go through batteries very quickly-which require a smaller Phillips head screwdriver to access batteries. So for trick or treating you'll need need to bring a large pack of AA batteries and a screw driver with you and for a battery change you have to open the suit, retrieve the battery pack, detach it, unscrew it, replace batteries and reverse process. Hey, had this been sold for 20 bucks, you grin and bear it but not at this price. Again, it's cute when working but is high maintenance and low quality ... show more

The costume started out really great, but as the night went on the fan broke from the costume. Because of that I wouldn’t have charged nearly $100 for a costume was worth really $50.

    • Battery pack falls/material tears

The costume was great for a couple of times. Push foot in wrong way and tore. Battery pack kept falling out and eventually the cord messed up so the little air pump stopped working. Very cute while it lasted. Paid a lot for it. Hopefully I can get the air pump working again.

It's a little tough finding a place for the battery pack to hang out but you can let it dangle and it will be fine because they can't possibly run in this costume "I am not fast" -Baymax. This item was purchased for my 6 1/2 year old, as the description reads children ages 4-12. It could easily be worn up to a 12 year old's size, and perhaps a smaller adult size. You will need 4 AA batteries for the battery pack that attaches to the waist band of whatever you will be wearing under your costume; fan is on the back of the costume. The mask is plastic with an elastic band allowing it to be adjusted slightly in size. 'Puffy' gloves are included in this, however there is no costume 'sucker' (just wanted to clarify as the description didn't outline this but the picture showed one). The puffiness of the costume will allow the person wearing it to walk like Baymax, and it was quite entertaining to watch. Although my picture makes it a bit more challenging to see, the patchwork appearance that is showing in the product picture on this page is accurate. There is also the small part near the heart where the card went as in the movie (it is just an image of this, not a functioning part of the costume) I would definitely suggest white under the costume, or it appears more translucent than it really is.
