  • We all love it! Good Kidtrax customer service
Color: Blue/Stripe
The media could not be loaded. This is the perfect ride-on car for my 2yr 4mons old son. He weighs 35lbs and 3ft tall. We don’t have a bunch of extra money so when I chose this, it took me months searching (reading, watching videos of reviews, comparing everything from the product itself, brands to stores where to buy it best) to find the best one (features and price) because I have no room for regretting my purchase. I can’t give review to its durability yet since its still sitting inside the house and my son can not reach the pedal yet nor know how to use it. But for design, features, most of all, the customer service of kidtrax, 5 stars or even 100 if I could. Also base on lots of reviews I’ve read, many of them bought this as an upgrade for their old smaller kidtrax ride-on cars that they have for 8, 7, 6 yrs now which tells me that this brand makes durable ride on toy cars. First, my package arrived in a nice box unlike many of the reviews said theirs came with kinda ripped open salvaged box. Second, no scratches and everything was complete except for one, a little hub cover which I contacted kidtrax directly through their e-mail support because I’ve read reviews saying amazon’s customer support on this particular product is not very good while kidtrax’s is great which is correct. They’re very easy to talk to, very patient and solve my problem smoothly and quickly. Annika, their Sr. CSR is very nice. Third, all the features. I’ve was torn between having a remote control or having a realistic look (middle foot pedal and middle shift gear that is not on the dashboard for 2-seater). My husband and I both agreed that they will learn quickly how to use it themselves and the remote control will be useless. Also, many of the reviews of Remote controlled ride on cars experience problems with the remote which makes them rely on using it manually, so again it makes the RC useless. So its not worth it to give up the realistic look to RC. I’ve read a review saying there was dangling wire on the radio which who knows where it came off or where it is suppose to connect, my husband said it is for the antenna but since it doesn’t have antenna rod to connect to, just leave it and its okay. This car is pretty big and won’t fit on doors so you can’t drive it inside the house. Originally, I wanted to get the red Fisher-price power wheels Ford Mustang but its no longer available or some store sell them over-priced. Then I found this and very happy. ... show more

  • As advertised, but could be better for the cost
Color: Blue/Stripe
Got it for my kid's birthday. Looks cool, little guy is excited, but for the price, I'm not thrilled with it. Firstly, the car is very loud. I wasn't expecting it to be super quiet, but it's a very off-putting, high-pitched whirring sound. I can't tell if it's defective or made to sound like this on purpose, but I've cringed every time we take it out down the street, because I'm so aware of how it may disturb others. It sounds like it's struggling, and my children are maybe 65 lbs together. It's preventing me from letting the kids enjoy it. But I'm also not looking forward to disassembling this thing to send back, so we may just begrudgingly keep it. I have a few days to decide before return window closes. Secondly, upon assembly, the radio had a wire that wasn't connected to anything. I'm suspecting it's supposed to connect to the car so that the light on the radio can indicate the car battery is low, but I honestly have no idea where it came loose, so the wire is kinda just dangling (hidden, but ineffective and useless). Radio itself works ok for what it is. Sometimes the horn button stays depressed and will honk repeatedly, but I can manage to wiggle it back out. Annoying - would have been nice to have the car horn on the steering wheel so the kids can press it like a real horn, but that's me being nitpicky. If the button worked without getting stuck, I'd be ok with that too. Thirdly, this car could offer more features. Such as a parental remote. I don't know why I thought this came with a remote controller - probably because I was comparing different cars and mixed some specs up, but it DOES NOT have a remote control. Get ready to chase the car and have some toes run over. For the price, I think it should come with one. Seatbelts and door locks should be included as well, but they're not. Car jerks a fair bit when the kids press accelerate, and since the doors don't latch and there's no seatbelt, kiddos may fall out of the car. Hasn't happened so far *fingers crossed* A wagon pull of some sort to wheel the car back would've also been really nice. Cause we have to have our 5yo reverse park the car to get it to our outside outlet, and let me tell you. Not fun. Or quick. Things to note: - The accelerator is basically in the middle between the two seats, so the passenger kid can definitely slam the pedal if they had a desire to - which my younger one has done. - The car lights will not turn on unless the car is actually on. Which won't happen if your charger is still plugged into the car. - Car has performed poorly on grass on low setting, and sounds like it's struggling on our flat street as well. Haven't tried the higher speed since I can barely guide the car on low speed without tripping over or having my toes crushed by the wheels. Again, remote control would've been lovely. - Assembly wasn't bad. Some pieces were already in which confused me occasionally, but otherwise straightforward. Car pieces were very dirty though - had to wipe several times before I let the kids near the assembled car. - No trunk space or storage space for toys/drinks/snacks. 2 kids fit comfortably with some space, so could potentially just stick extra whatevers in the cargo area (but not a whole lot more stuff.) Overall, feels like the car could've been more upgraded. It is as advertised (aside from loose wire and loud ride), so it's ok in that regard... but the price and features of the car don't seem to really align. Wish I'd bought it on sale. ... show more

  • Way more expensive now than when I paid $250 for. Totally worth $250 though.
Color: Blue/Stripe
Bought it for my son's 5 year birthday. Instructions are worthless, but anyone mechanically inclined can figure it out. Took me about 35 minutes to assemble. It is a dual motor and the battery is pre-charged, and there is a compartment for a second battery (you'll need a splitter battery cable to add this.) Pro's: 1. Actually decent power. My cul de sac is a 10-15 degree grade going up the street and it manages to take my 5 year old and toddler up it, even below 50% charge. 2. Dual motor. Very useful as most kid's toys like this have one wheel or a single motor trying to turn two wheels. Makes for good torque too. 3. very roomy for toddlers. My 5 year and his 5 year old girlfriend next door sat in it comfortably next to each other. Con's: 1. NO SEATBELT. Easy to make one though with a $10 strap set on amazon. 2. Doors pop off easily. Modded with a smal plastice rectangle with a slot screwed down like the Lil Tike doors. 3. No voltage meter. kinda suck you don't know how much power is left. $10 kit for golf cart battery meter and some dremeling to fix this. No where near worth $500, but at $250 and $30 worth of part and some engineering its the perfect ride for the kids. Will be adding a second battery in series with a fast slow switch to really get this thing some speed. ... show more
