The fabric of this costume is very strong quality. It's not like the cheap costume fabric you get for Halloween. My advice is to do the measurements of your kid! I chose size Small for my 9-year-old godson who is tiny and wears a size 7. The arms were definitely too short, more like a 4/5. Since it's my fault for not doing the measurements I can't reflect that as a negative review. My five-star review is honest and based on how nice and realistic it looks. ... show more

Great outfit overall. It looks good, feels pretty good to the skin, and is well thought out with real pockets. The velcro on the wrists and ankles is a good touch and, while it's true to size, we should have gotten one size up so that it could be a bit big now and they grow into it as the velcro would take care of any bagginess. As always with this type of thing, my concern when getting it was the material thickness, but it's actually a regular thickness and feels sturdy....as I said, well thought out all the way around. ...except for my one complaint. In the product pictures, you notice the velcro spots on the hat and chest? There is nothing to stick there. It comes with stickers, which are nice, but that's a different thing. So you've got these great spots for patches and nothing to put on them. It would be a MUCH better product if they included a few patches with velcro on the back and charged $10 more. Then it would be a 5 star fantastic military outfit for kids. As it is, I think we are going to try to rig up some patches. ... show more

My 10-year-old is very much into military and camo these days, so we ordered this as something fun for him to wear. This is better quality than your typical costume material, but not super duty like actual military grade cloth. (They will end up growing out of it before it gets that kind of wear anyway). The belt is thick and adjustable so even as they grow, they can continue to use it for regular clothes. The pants don't actually have belt loops since the design of the costume has the belt worn over the jacket, but it can be worn in a bunch of different ways. It also came with about 20-30 stickers that you can put on your folders, water bottle, etc. The jacket and hat have velcro spots for badges or names. The fit is accurate, and he size chart does a good job with guiding you to the right size. Great product and fun for my kid! ... show more

This camouflage soldier costume is extremely well made and detailed, so similar to real soldier uniforms. The high-quality fabric is really impressive, no wrinkles and it’s very attractive as a real uniform. The set arrived with the Army uniform jacket, uniform pants, the matching camouflage belt, the coordinating Army hat, and Army stickers. Many children love to play good guys and bad guys so they can explore the feeling of power, ranks, and win-or-lose effects. They like regimen, rules, routines, and they have that feeling that people respect soldiers who serve their country. What young boy doesn’t want to feel bravery and courage? They learn that the sense of calling represents also a desire to do something meaningful. It’s such an inspiration to witness a young child putting on a military uniform or costume, and just to see their demeanor transpose into a dignified leader. Small fit’s a 5 year old that’s about 45” tall. Fabric is thick and a very close to a fabric you’d expect from a uniform. Nothing about this feels like a costume other than perhaps the plastic belt buckle and the included cartoon like military stickers. This set comes with a real hat so make sure you have Velcro patches to stick on the uniform and hat. Normally I expect a costume to be something you only wear once. This is actually something you can wear when playing outdoor military games, or attending parades and so forth. Overall this is just a quality feeling mini digital camo ACU. I almost think there is a conspiracy that military costumes are purposely high quality so that kids grow up as army recruits… Very pleased, Hooah! ... show more
